Re: Grid locator query

Yes, that does work. However, it seems to not follow rule #3 in your previous post: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. When the call is...

Re: Grid locator query

The same thing is happening here with 5A1AL. It doesn't matter if I use QRZ or HamQTH. Other calls show the correct grid.

Re: working with another ident (call)

Another method would be to set up a portable installation for the second call. I do that with my wife's call, and can have both logs running at the same time. I have different shortcuts for the two calls. Each log has its own configuration. Since you asked about three calls, including the club call,...

Re: Error when downloading from LoTW while communicator running

This has happened to me recently, as well. It just started in the last few weeks. I am using version 1.30 and the latest version of Win 10. Communicator is always running when Log4OM is. One workaround I have found is to open a different database, and then reopen the original one.

Re: Is there a way to stop LOTW QSL's updating locator (grid square)?

Could this be made optional? It is very possible that the grid square was obtained from QRZ or hamqth.com. However, the ham could be operating in a different grid square. That is very likely in V/UHF contests. For those chasing grid squares for awards (VUCC), the information in LOTW is what is used ...

Re: Comment for eQSL

Once the QSO is in the log, double click on it. In the Update QSO box, go to the QSL Information tab. There is a blank that says QSL Message. This will be in the upload to eQSL, and will appear in the comments section on the eQSL card. I just tested it.

Hope this helps.

Re: New User Needs Help

How do you have WSJT-X configured to log directly to Log4OM? I didn't know it was possible.

Re: JT 65 logging problem

Jim - have you taken a look at JTAlert. It adds all kinds of add-on features to WSJTX or the strictly JT65 programs. It has good interface for setting up logging to different programs. I have been using it for a long time. It has great help file and excellent user support via Yahoo Group. JTAlert i...

Re: JT 65 logging problem

Have you checked Log4OM to see if the QSO was logged? Sometimes the error message shows up, even though the QSO was logged. If this is the case, try this. In JTAlert, go to Settings/Miscellaneous/Performance and increase the time under Check QSO Log Record. I have mine set to 10 seconds. Incidentall...
