BE AWARE that this problem has been fixed for the FTDX101D/MP. There is a new FTDX101D.ini file on the Afreet Omnirig rigini download website that is dated 02-08-2020 and it fixes the split issue. THANK YOU!!!

Re: Omnirig reporting radio in SPLIT when it isnt
This issue has already been reported on this forum, seems it may be an Omnirig or Yaesu issue, we are checking I just found this topic, this issue is also discussed here: https://forum.log4om.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=4635 I doubt it is a Yaesu issue as N1MM+ software reports the Split correctly...

Re: CAT Frozen on SPLIT for FT-891
BTW both the FTDX101d.ini and the FT-950.ini (slightly modified) pass the OmniRig Verification software check. Both those radio's CAT commands report the SPLIT status as a combination of two commands. I don't know what else to check on the OmniRig side. Both .ini's appear to be operating as OmniRig...

Re: CAT Frozen on SPLIT for FT-891
FTDX101: What .ini rig file are you using? The FTDX101D ??? Yes I have the latest FTDX101D.ini file dated 1-31-2020 from the Omnirig website. Log4OM v1 works perfectly. As does every one bit of ham radio software I have using Omnirig. So the problem is clearly not Omnirig ini files. Yes I agree, LO...

Re: CAT Frozen on SPLIT for FT-891
I have a FTDX101MP and the exact same condition described in this topic exists with LOG4OM V2 and omnirig and my radio. The Split indicator stays on in LOG4OM when the radio is NOT in split. MY Omni rig FTDX101 .ini file reads as follows for Status5: [STATUS5] Command=(FR;FT;) ReplyLength=8 ;ReplyEn...

Re: FTDX101 and Omnirig
No I have not notified anyone except posting here. I bought the radio the first week of November and had to send it back to Yaesu for a Factory Update. I just got the radio back yesterday. UPDATE, I just tried the FT-991 ini Omnirig file with my FTDX-101MP and it now works perfectly with LOg4OM. How...

Re: FTDX101 and Omnirig
I had been using the modified file, to be sure I re-downloaded. It does the same thing. I have a FTDX-101MP. Using Omnirig with the FTDX-101D Omnirig ini file dated 10-07-19. Both the CAT VFO readouts in LOG4OM work perfect, turn the dial and the readouts follow. Change bands and the VFO readouts fo...

Re: FTDX101 and Omnirig
There is a problem using the 991 file also. Using this ini file, the LOG4OM will not read the mode correctly from the radio unless you put the call in LOG4OM using the cluster. I found this out the hard way after I made 6 or 7 QSOes and they were not the mode I was using. Also LOg4OM locks the mode ...

Not a defect in LOG4OM - FT8 -Data - LOTW
Apparently there is a defect in LOG4OM that all FT8 operators should be aware of if they use LOTW.. The discussion is here: http://www.eham.net/ehamforum/smf/index.php/topic,115920.0.html It is easier to reference the link above, rather than explain it all over again. According to AA6YQ (DXLABs auth...

Re: 1000 Forum users
What is great is your LOG4OM. And this is the reason for all the forum users. LOG4OM is a very good logger, better than most of it's competition. It has features that tells me that you are a Ham that knows exactly what Hams and DXers need in a Logger.
