Re: Unable to upload logs to LOTW

Thanks for the reply.

That explains the reason why I was finally able to complete two manual uploads (outside of Log4OM) using TQSL.exe.
They both surprised me and in one case took ann hour or so before it appeared in LOTW.

Thanks for the information. I'll be patient.

Unable to upload logs to LOTW

After many years of successfully automatically uploading my QSOs to LOTW on shutdown, I have been unable to do so since 12/31/2022. I've created and installed a new certificate with LOTW, installed the latest version of TQSL.exe and the associated .xml file without that having any success in corecti...

Re: Setting current power

I finally found the place where it can be set in the Station Configuration. It's buried deeper than it used to be.

Setting current power

I am unable to change the my default current power. In Station Info (F4) current power is set at 5.000 from a previous QRP session. No matter what power I enter in that field, the power of 5.000 returns if I restart the program. How do I reset a default current power? As I recall, it used to be in t...

Re: Update DXCC Award Status Automatically

I'm looking for a way to have the DXCC Awards Status in Statistics and Awards reflect the number of entities that I have credit for at LOTW. I've downloaded the same ADIF file from LOTW that Claus referenced in the original post starting this thread back in 2014. This file is nothing more than a lis...

Re: Cluster filters

Hi, I'm attempting to enter a set of permanent cluster filters which will load each time I connect to a cluster. Here's the path I'm following: Settings/Options/Enable Expert Mode/Cluster Commands I then enter the filter commands I want to have run each time I connect, then save the file. I then exi...

WinKeyer log window - Contest mode

I've been working to understand how to use Log4OM in Contest Mode with WinKeyer. In general, I've found that it works very well, but I have one question. Is there a way to automatically log a contact, clear the data fields, and get back to the Call entry field without having to use <TAB> or the mous...

Re: Connection to TS-570D

Problem Resolved: The solution to my attempts to connect my Kenwood TS-570D to my laptop computer was a FTDI chip female Serial-USB cable, but because most cables of that type appear to be configured as Null Modem cables, I also had to obtain a DB9 Male/DB9 Female Null Modem adapter plug. The FTDI c...

Re: Connection to TS-570D

Thanks again for the help. I tried a straight through serial to USB cable today, but the computer wouldn't recognize that it had been plugged into any of my three ports. So that one, like the first one with the Prolific chip, has been returned. I'm now waiting for the arrival of an FTDI serial to US...

Re: Connection to TS-570D

Thanks for your suggestions. I've already tried the Kenwood selection, as well as several other Kenwood rig selections, and have double checked the baud rates several times. In the meantime, by digging through some old threads on other forums dealing with CAT interfacing the TS-570D, I've learned th...
