Winkeyer Question

I miss the old Winkeyer icon. I know it was removed on purpose. Is there a way to create a shortcut that I can pin to my taskbar, for example: rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\IW3HMH\Log4OM>rundll32 LogOM.WinKeyer.dll",entrypoint. I've been unable to determine the correct entry point or if this ...

Re: LOG4OM/fLDIGI and digimaster pro 3

Would it be possible to bring back the Winkeyer icon on the toolbar? In previous versions, I remember it being there, but I didn't have a Winkeyer. Now that I have one, I wish the icon was back.

Re: clicking spot on Cluster doesn't always change radio frequency

I'm glad this is a known issue and is being fixed in an upcoming version. Mine also stops responding to cluster double clicks. I've found that I can run 'pskill omnirig.exe' or kill from task manager, then click the headset icon to restart Omnirig. That's the workaround I've been using to keep from ...

Re: Lag when typing in callsign field

The lag issue was caused by .NET Framework. I noticed that many functions in Log4OM were running slower than they should be. I went to microsoft.com and grabbed the latest .NET Framework and Log4OM is now very snappy and responsive. I don't know if there's a problem with the version I was using (4.5...

Re: Lag when typing in callsign field

I have 1.24.0.0. I currently have all of those checked, but I have tested with with all of them off, and I don't notice a difference in speed either way.

Lag when typing in callsign field

I have some pretty bad lag when typing in the callsign field. It lags on entry and when pressing backspace. I've tried disabling the lookup and cluster analysis features, but they don't make any difference, so I turned them back on. My system is a Core i5, 8 GB ram and SSD hard disk running Win 7, s...

Re: Add Built-in Rig Control

I use N1MM for the big contests, and I like the way you can just type "CW" into the callsign box and hit enter to change mode, or type "7010" and it tunes to 40m.

Re: General suggestions

I spent some more time with the cluster login script and the cluster commands text file and came up with something that I'm fairly happy with. I'm sure Daniele will eventually add something to Log4OM that is better than this approach. If you're interested in more advanced cluster filtering, here's w...

Re: General suggestions

Hi Brian, Have you tried "detached" windows? Many of the things which you want to see simulaneously can be seen if you detach windows and place them as desired. Of course, this depends on your monitor size, monitor resolution and number of monitors. Here is a screen shot of my typical layout with t...

Re: General suggestions

MUF are calculated using external informations, and could help you finding the right frequency for a contact. Filtering cluster using MUF is not wise, because you can miss particular propagation situations and other events that could effectively allow you to make a contact. A possible workaround co...
