Re: No CAT control after rig change
Well that seems to have flushed everything (probably a good idea when buying a used rig) but no dice on the CAT situation. The Omnirig configurations sre holding ok, i.e. they seem to have saved OK, also log4om config staying put. It all looks like it should connect. USB-Serial Prolific setup all lo...

Re: No CAT control after rig change
Hi Terry many thanks for your prompt response. I have switched from Hamlib to OMNIRig Set baudrate to 4800 as the MkV only supports that speed COM port set to 3 as shown on Device Manager However, rig list is not showing the MkV so I have had to set it to FT-1000MP Still nothing doing and have gone ...

No CAT control after rig change
I have been using Log4OM with an FT-897D very successfully for a while running on a W7 PC. I have just acquired an FT-1000MP MkV and having just changed the CAT lead and rig, I no longer seem to have any CAT control between the rig and the log software. I can't find any setup fields where I need to ...

Re: No longer "connecting" to cluster
Thank you Terry, I guess that means it could come back again. I'll leave it for a bit to see if that is the case, if not I'll go for another one.

No longer "connecting" to cluster
I have 2 installations of Log4OM; one on my main desktop PC and one on my laptop. They both access the db in Dropbox. This has worked well for a long time but recently I have received the message "Not connected" after a long delay at start-up. This is on both PCs. The program works fine in...

Re: Problem after importing ADIF file
Thank you.
Does that mean that after I created the new database I should have made at least one new entry manually and then imported the file? In other words does making a normal entry first create a new log file?

Problem after importing ADIF file
I’m a very new user of Log4OM having enjoyed using it for about a week, after which I had to perform a (scheduled) rebuild of the PC. First however I exported an ADIF file as I presumed that would be how to get the QSOs back into a new install of Log4OM. On firing up the new log, I created a new DB ...
