phpBB forum has an option to provide list of new messages posted since last user visit.
It is really helpful, but it is not available on forum interface (or, at least, I cannot find it).

Profiles are fine approach when very different configurations are needed. It seems quite frequent case that single person has to create more profiles just to have some small difference in configuration. Problem is when one option that is common to all profiles is changed, user has to open and update...

Another issue:
When I use search filter to list QSO with Send QSL requested status, I cannot use options to apply sent status to selected QSO.
At the moment I try to switch to update mode, it resets selected QSO list, and reloads all QSOs.
