Re: Allow user configuration of callsign lookup timing

I am usually typing in QSOs from paper log made whil workingprotable. I ahev this issue: I type in call, move to report field and type in report but program stalls due to lookup. After lookup is done, focus is moved to call sign and report number I typed is added to call sign which triggers anther r...

First time V2 user, issues I noticed

I recently set new desktop PC so I installed Log4OM (v2.22.0.0). Here are my impressions as first time user of this version: I lost all customization of Log4OM v1. The only thing I could save was log database. On entering QSO i noticed that dxcc, country and zone data were not automatically updated ...

Re: Label printing question.

Laser prints last long but if you tightly pack prints and let them stay packed for a while they tent to stick to each other.

I guess printing method that lasts the longest is good old matrix printer.

Re: Some words about Log4OM awards

Working with awards frequently leads to the same problem: award data is not updated and award item is missing. As user, I can add that item so I can run my log but then my local award definition goes out of sync with official version. I also have to mark such records so, when once award info is upda...

It does not matter where it could be pasted. It would be good to have option to copy.

Re: manual frequency correction leaves RX freq in Sat/prop field unchanged leading to "cross" band recorded on LOTW

I edited QSO frequency for few QSO's and then I realized that RX and TX frequencies differs as frequencies are not both updated. I second yo3ipr+s suggestion. Do not let application create false split operations. Use split mode only when obvious, otherwise, disable it. Also, I noticed that when I en...

Re: RIG2

Thanks. AT least I know it should work fine.

Trouble is that I set everything the same. If I set as RIG2 it does not work. If I set as RIG1 it works.

Re: Callsign auto-entry

It might be good idea to set Ctrl+Enter to be used for adding QSO. That would allow keyboard users to have an option but prevent accidental QSO add. Or at least make this as settable option.

RIG2 - bug? - No it is not

I have installed new rig in my shack and connected it to separate COM port. I use OmniRig to control rigs. Previous rig was set as RIG1 works fine. As I will use it from time to time I wanted to leave it's settings intact so I set new rig as RIG2. That did not work. No communication to RIG2. Finally...
