Re: Setup log4om + hamlib + flrig
You should check the event log in FLRig which should have more information. The configuration you want is FLRig connecting to the radio CAT and then other apps connecting to FLRig via network. You shouldn't need to use standalone hamlib to multiplex things as FLRig is the mux point, not hamlib. Or a...

Re: Hamlib and flex-6300
Sure. Can you PM me with an email? DocX is too large for the forum. Super short version: Install Slice Master from https://github.com/K1DBO/slice-master-6000/releases In ... tab enable TCP CAT TX Listener for tcp port 7820 In Log4OM Settings->Program Configuration->CAT set CAT Engine to Hamlib In Lo...

Re: Hamlib and flex-6300
Are you connecting to SmartCAT via IP or serial? My 6600 setup uses hamlib with SliceMaster in the mix so that hamlib and Log4OM "follow" whichever slice is designated TX. I have Log4OM start slicemaster and slicemaster starts CW Skimmer on demand when a slice is set to CW. With that confi...

Re: interfacing a Flex 6400 to FLdigi and Log4om2
Ah gotcha.
Will defer to others since I explicitly disable that functionality in Log4OM in order to run multiple FLdigi instances. (FLdigi has similar features that play nicer with multiple receive slices)

Re: interfacing a Flex 6400 to FLdigi and Log4om2
Is the problem that the flex isn't keying or isn't logging? For logging you can use the Log4OM follow function on pg 204 of the current manual to pick up the QSO from the temp\Log.adif file. For keying I have FLDigi connect direct to the SmartCAT serial port. No VSP. For running multiple simultaneou...

Re: Updating external services
Are you attempting to update the WSJT previous contacts adif file or attempting to have WSJT QSOs logged automatically in Log4OM? If the latter following the setup on pp 165 should work. When configuring WSJT network services, replace the loop back address (127.0.0.1) with the IP address of the host...

Re: FLdigi mode recording
If you are using the FLDigi log button, Log4OM picks up the QSO info by following an adif file. Setup is on p 190-191 in current user manual. In my experience, you will need to follow the temporary log file at c:\Users\<login>\fldigi.files\temp\log.adif, not the permanent logbook.adi. The latter doe...

Re: Database Structure Question
Ah, gotcha.
FWIW my DXK exports contain a valid <STATE> but don’t recall if I did anything special to make that happen.

Re: Database Structure Question
Internal db structure shouldn't matter if the exporting log and importing log both use standard ADIF. I recently imported a number of QSOs from DXkeeper via ADIF and the STATE info did transfer correctly.
Did you import via ADIF or via CSV?
