Glad you found a workaround. I looked it up and found some are having issues with the app throttling their speed. None of those programs were running here. I have a Dell but did a clean install of Windows so none of their programs running. I have been testing the alpha version referred to above and have not had a lockup since.

SSTV Problem
I have configured bands to include 20 meters and modes to include SSTV. When I try to manually log a SSTV contact the program will not let me select SSTV, jumps back to USB. Did I miss a config flag?

Follow-up not sure if this helps but one difference I have seen, I decided to install the previous version as my offer to try and help was met with silence. On version 2.8.0.0 when I removed a call in WSJT-X using backspace in the call window it was instantly wiped in Log4OM, in 2.7.0.0 this happens...

I am a new user and have been having this problem. I just started Log4OM and tried 2 calls of FT8 with no responses. This was enough for the GUI to be frozen.
