Re: Log4OM v1.41.0 odd problem with QRZ.com XML data processing

Hi Jeurgen I consider this issue to be a maintenance issue. Something which is not working as it should. I accept that this is a small issue but I am curious to know what the problem is. Other issues with V1 have been solved in the last few months with Lele''s help. That was by email since the V1 fo...

Re: Log4OM v1.41.0 odd problem with QRZ.com XML data processing

I managed to get the two attached XML files from the QRZ help team. Only two differences were of note in the 7X3WPL data: <zip>CP:03000</zip> - I tested to see if the : was a problem by using the same zip code in my own callsign record and this was not an issue <expdate>0000-00-00</expdate> - QRZ te...

Log4OM v1.41.0 odd problem with QRZ.com XML data processing

Hi Team I still use Log4OM version 1.41.0.0 and have no plans to move to v2 at present although I do have version 2.19.0 installed only for testing purposes. I have an active XML subscription with QRZ.com. I noticed a strange problem with only 1 callsign only so far. When I enter 7X3WPL Log4OM V1 do...

Re: V1 not able to send long callsigns (e.g. XXnSTAYHOME) for QRZ.com lookup

Thanks Danielle and Juergen Unfortuantely, these long calls have set a trend in some countries. It seems bizarre to me that in Poland for example I have seen special calls for "40 years on air" - would be crazy if we all did this every 5 or 10 years - and other strange things. Special Even...

Re: V1 not able to send long callsigns (e.g. XXnSTAYHOME) for QRZ.com lookup

Hi All,
Any update on this. There are still long callsigns out there (2 worked today OO4UZLEUVEN & OQ5BECLEVER) and they still do not work in v1 (lookup fails with QRZ.com just like before).

Thanks

Any time line for a long callsign update for V1?

Re: Program Starts but No Display

OK, Thanks Terry. As I said, I run a very tight ship here and there is little that happens on my PC that escapes my attention. The log file clearly indicates where the startup was stalling, I would have expected a clue from that, but I'll take your word that it doesn't help much if at all. Note that...

Re: Program Starts but No Display

Hi Team I also had this problem today - the first ever "fail to start" I ever had with log4OM in 7 years of use. I use V 1.41.1 - always up to date, on Windows 10 x64 v1909. The program is starts (runs as admin) but no display. Task manager shows it is running but with about 30% CPU usage ...

Re: V1 not able to send long callsigns (e.g. XXnSTAYHOME) for QRZ.com lookup

and as if by magic... read here https://www.qrz.com/db/wx3b Announcement: I will be using the special call sign WX3B/STAYHOME during the month of April!! The original idea for this originated when I heard 9K9STAYHOME on the radio, and watched some European stations adopt similar special call signs. ...
