Re: qrz.com op names not showing
All working well now. I'm always a bit reluctant to make changes when I'm not sure I'm doing the right thing but it was pretty straightforward and explained in the latest version of the manual. Thanks for the help.

Re: qrz.com op names not showing
I should have added that I'm using JTDX v2.2.159 and the entry is automatic. Everything else is sent thru to Log4OM correctly - just the name isn't. Entering a callsign directly into Log4OM manually works perfectly. I'll check thru the latest documentation and see if that steers me to a solution. Th...

qrz.com op names not showing
For some reason the name of the station work isn't showing up. Everything else OK (callsign, modes, band etc). I recently renewed my sub to qrz.com (XML Data). For years it has been working so I'm not sure what's happened. Log4OM v 2.27.1.2 Is there anything in Log4OM I should be looking to change o...

Re: Log4OM Files
Thanks Larry – great description and that answered a lot of my questions. There might be some more once I’ve made some changes to the configuration but in the meantime that was very helpful. Thanks again!

Log4OM Files
OK. It’s silly question time. Everything is working well with Log4OM, Flex radio, JTDX, JTAlert etc. Just so I can understand better what is going on, please enlighten me by expanding on the following: The ADIF file I understand contains all the details of QSOs (stations worked, frequency, mode, tim...

Re: Printing WAS Needed States
Update: I remember now. This information was readily obtainable from JTAlert, not Log4OM (although I'm sure it can be done there as well).

Printing WAS Needed States
Please jog my memory…I want to print a list of needed WAS states on a per band basis. I did this some time ago and it worked well but need to update the list but I can’t remember what I did but I know it was very easy to do. I just cut and pasted the required states into a Word document for easy ref...

Re: Contest Mode Questions
A follow on question: is it taking time to look back through ALL logbook entries, which in my case is well over 5000. Presumably that would take a considerable amount of time, even with a fast PC. Is it possible to force it to look at just those contacts made during the contest? Then it would have r...

Contest Mode Questions
This weekend I took part in the ARRL SSB contest - simply for fun rather than seriously. I know Log4OM doesn’t pretend to match anything like the N1MM software which is dedicated to contesting rather than general logging. One thing I found is that entering a callsign there was a delay of perhaps 2 –...

Re: Dual VFOs
Sorry to ask what is probably a very basic question...at least to those experienced with these apps. How do I use Hamlib and Slicemaster with the Flex? I have downloaded Hamlib from Github but I'm not even sure how to install and set it up. Will it happily coexist with Omnirig? I already have Slicem...
