Re: RTTY with Log4OM

Hi Terry, "It is still the only software that currently supports tru FSK RTTY" What about MMTTY and MMVARI? MultiPSK may do it too, but I am not sure. I am asking for information and not to be funny. I did not intend any personal disrespect at all to anybody who chooses to use MixW. I was just givin...

Re: RTTY with Log4OM

Hi Manuel, Sorry for the late reply. MixW is rubbish IMHO. It does not have RSID, something that is essential when dealing with all the sub-modes of main modes like Olivia for example. The registration of MixW is a joke. I figured it out very quickly so could use it for free if I wished. I uninstall...

Re: Hamlib Update

Hi Dave, Many thanks for your kind offer. I also compile hamlib and WSJT-X (using JTSDK). IIRC, somebody posted that as the architecture of Hamlib 3 was so different to the previous version, log4OM would have to be rewritten to use it. Anyway, my misunderstanding was cleared up. Yet another "senior ...

Re: Hamlib Update

Hi Daniele,
I was puzzled as the "old" hamlib was not deleted and the "new" hamlib has the datestamp of 15/7/2017.
Happy New Year

Re: RTTY with Log4OM

Hans, There is a good solution for this. I have done it myself. Even though I have an Icom 7300 and do not need an external interface, I bought a microHAM DigiKeyer II. I chose that unit as it supports FLDigi's pseudo-FSK. Look for more details in the FLDigi manual. FLDigi can be configured to log t...

Re: Current V2 status

Thanks for the update. I was disappointed to read that 80% of your (valuable) time is being spent on v1. I say that as v1 is such a fantastic program, I really cannot wait to see what you can come up with for it's replacement :) .

Re: OmniRig Installation hiccup ???

OT:- I have used an SSD in the past, but was less that impressed as I tend to keep my apps in memory. Yes, things did load faster but until a 2GB SSD is the same price as a 2GB hard drive, I'll keep my money. I need that capacity as I have 11 OSs installed.

Re: copy configuration for new install?

Hi Kent,

It's page 160 in the version of the manual I'm looking at right now. The item in the contents (btw the manual is searchable) is "Transferring a database and configuration to another PC". It is under the main heading "miscellaneous".

Terry, >>The requests from this thread represent less than 0.003 percent of our user base and less than 0.3 percent of the 1500 forum members<< With all due respect, that should not a reason to dismiss enhancement requests at all! An enlightened and supportive programmer would consider all requests,...
