Re: Net control loses frequency and won't log QSOs
Thanks Terry, that would make sense for CAT control and I will check it and change it if you're right. What effect would that have when OmniRig is not in use? My worst issue is when I'm using a rig that's not connected to OmniRig and of course Log4OM reports it as Offline. In other words it's in sta...

Net control loses frequency and won't log QSOs
My setup is Log4OM2 (latest version - I always update) using Omnirig as CAT control for my Elecraft K3S and Icom IC-9700. The K3S is setup for Rig 1 and the IC-9700 is Rig 2. The frequency and band info shows correctly in the correct panels for both rigs. When I use the Net Control facility, all wor...

Issues with using Net Control
I have been having issues for some time when using the Net Control utility (Log4OMII v2.11.0.0). It works fine when I'm using Omnirig and Rig 1 is selected and online, but if I switch to Rig 2, although the main display shows the correct frequency from the rig, it is not recorded in the frequency fi...

Re: Icom IC-9700
Hi Terry. It looks like the status command for reading TX frequency, using '03' only seems to read only one VFO. Using '1C03' reads both. As expected, when the rig is in memory mode, because only a single frequency is stored, only VFO A is displayed. However, if I switch to VFO and back to memory, t...

Icom IC-9700
I'm having a few issues getting Log4OM to work with the new IC-9700, the way I want. This question may be more appropriate to OmniRig, but I'll try here first. I have written a .ini file for OmnRig, which should allow Log4OM to display VFO A and VFO B frequencies at the same time. For some reason I ...

Re: Special Event Station
OK Terry, you probably don't need the hassle or the politics, but if Lele is reading this, perhaps he'd like to consider my course of action?
All the very best Terry.

Re: Special Event Station
Thanks Terry.
I typed the message on Facebook, then realised that you might have already left the group.
Are you not the FB Group Owner? I suggest removing the miscreant from the group. There's no excuse for rudeness, especially when an effectively free program is being provided!

Special Event Station
I want to use Log4OM to run a special event station, always with the same callsign.
How do I change the operator name at every 'shift' change please?

Re: Use of SMB1
Ciao Alain is the error produced by Log4OM itself or seems an issue raised by windows? Basically Log4OM loads an high number of files on start from his config file, all from the config folder, and the database from the user defined folder where it reside. During normal work, Log4OM write down into ...

Use of SMB1
On my Windows 10 laptop, Log4OM loads files from my network, but when I try to close it down, I get a convoluted message about not being able to connect to the file share because it's not secure. This share requires the obsolete SMB1 protocol which is unsafe................ Looking at the Microsoft ...
