Re: JTDX files and 80m

I have just looked at a WSJT-X ADIF file and it also does not contain Country data. Basically the ADIF files produced by JTDX and WSJT-X are the same file structure. I've not tried JTALERT as I did not feel it gives me any benefits, and I have enough applications running on my desktop already!. The ...

JTDX files and 80m

I currently use JTDX for FT8 QSOs, and use ADIF File Polling to import QSOs into Log4OM. I have noticed that when it imports QSOs on 80m then it does not attach any country to the callsign. I have to manually edit each 80m QSO to add the country. G3ZSS ADIF 80m.PNG If I look at the ADIF file then I ...

Re: Spots for SmartSDR

I would second this proposal. The addition of the new Flex Spots API would be a popular request from the Flex community. 73 Peter

TQSL v2.4 released

The ARRL LOTW team has recently released an updated version of TQSL. I hardly ever use the app in standalone mode, so had not noticed the update! Here are the release notes http://www.arrl.org/files/file/LoTW%20 ... elease.pdf. 73 Peter G3ZSS

Re: DX Alerts and out of band

The same issue applies to getting alerts from North American stations (IARU Region 2) operating above 7.200 MHz.

Re: DX Alerts and out of band

Doug, I already use the VE7CC cluster app. I had a look at the CCC filter commands but they are band based and if I want 160m CW it filters from 1.800 to 1.850 MHz or 1.800 to 2.000 for the full band. I want to stop any alarms for spots between 1.800 to 1.810 MHz. In Log4OM settings we can set the b...

DX Alerts and out of band

I have set up DX Alerts to my phone for new DXCCs on 160m. However, I am getting many alerts due to stations being outside the IARU Region 1 bandplan. For example any W or VE operating between 1.800 and 1.810 is generating an alert, even though I do not need them! The only setting I can find in the ...

Re: Malware Alert

My Log4OM crashed yesterday and Windows Defender also reported the Trojan fethar.B!cl. I tried deleting and reinstalling Log4OM but still got the same problem - it would not install. I downloaded a trial version of Bitdefender and then ran a full system scan. Bitdefender reported one infected file a...

Re: LoTW Statistics Compare routine?

In an old version of the AD1C DX4WIN comparison programme, you had to go to your award matrix on LOTW - highlight the matrix - and then save as a html file. So you essentially get the same as shown in the PDF but as a html instead. All a bit clumsy, but it worked! 73 Peter

Re: LoTW Statistics Compare routine?

Interestingly I used to use DX4WIN before becoming a LOG4OM convert. AD1C had a great routine for comparing LOTW with your DX4WIN log. It required you to do an ADIF download of your DXCC records from LOTW and then comparing with your own log. You can get an idea of AD1C's work at http://dx4win.ad1c....
