Re: Cluster alerts problem
I might be wrong but I think this is how it works (using the default settings) When a new country that you never worked (on any band or mode) is spotted it is highlighted in RED. The next time that country is spotted (on a new band or mode) it’s is spotted, but not in RED. It is highlighted in a col...

Re: computer & laptop
This is something that I have strongly considered several times. I’ve not done it because it would require internet access every time I operate. My home PC is my primary installation. Contacts made using my laptop are simply imported into LOG4OM on the primary installation. However, I do use Google ...

Re: "SAM" mode with Flex Software
Terry / Daniel I believe that you misunderstood what was occurring. 1. You are correct, SAM is not a recognized "mode" in the ADIF syntax. In this case SAM is a "receive only" mode that FLEX radios offer for third party remote control software. 2. LOG4OM uses CAT data to identify...

"SAM" mode with Flex Software
Terry / Admins I've been meaning to mention this for some time. I run a lot of AM with my Flex 6500. When i place the receive mode to "SAM" Synchronous AM, LOG4OM detects this as FT8 mode. Normal AM is detected OK. I'm not sure if this is an issue with FLEX or LOG4OM. I have the means to a...

Update to how LOG4OM Calculates Verified QSO's
Terry, several months ago I reached out to you regarding what I thought might be a bug. When a contact was verified by a QSL, the country was not showing up in the DXCC “confirmed” totals. You explained that only contact verified by LOTW were counted, as those were the only “officially verified” con...

Re: Can LOG4OM use 2 LOTW certificates?
That's the strange part of this. The call in question is UL7RE. If I display contacts for that call nothing shows up in the DXCC contact grid, and I never worked UL7RE under any call. For the other calls I used that method to ID those contacts. I also figured out why they were there. These were most...
