Stats and Awardsa

I really like the Stats and awards part of LOG4OM. However, is there a way to scan the log and have the worked/confirmed/validated etc entries done en-mass rather than having to go thru each country one at a time and then look up each one in the logbook to change their status in the awards section? ...

Log4OM database to WIN 7 computer

I am planning on purchasing a new computer running Win 7. What my concern is how do i import my LOG4OM database into the LOG4OM program since the database will be in the WIN XP-pro format. I don't know if this is a real concern or not. I suppose LOG4OM will continue to support WIN 7? My understandin...

Log4OM needs to close msg when starting up

Couple of days ago i shut down the computer for an overnight rest. Next day when i cranked it back up things looked normal. I then started LOG4OM. It got to the point where it said "loading database" and then i got a msg on the screen that "Log4OM had encountered a problem and must shutdown". I don'...

Re: QSL & LoTW log dates

I do agree terry that a lot of problems i'm discovering are part of the learning curve associated with LOG4OM. Yep, been with HRD V5.0 for a number of years and it's been easy to use. It appears that different things are done differently in LOG4oM so as i said, it's a earning curve. Appreciate your ...

Re: IOTA maps

Good info and thanks Rob for the comments as well. I use the APRS.FI page a lot to home in on the particular island and use that as a reference point, the whole or majority of the island if i have nothing else to reference to for logging info. Point, Sable Island. I corresponded with one of the oper...

Log entry sows IOTA not associated with grid

I notice that when i look at a QSO, USA type, that in the COUNTRY-IOTA_SOTA page, in the County block it always shows the state, county. Why is that? I would think it would only show the County. The distance block is always in KM, i have selected somewhere for it to show miles. What needs to be done...

Re: QSL & LoTW log dates

I wasn't aware that the two logbooks would be so different in what data points would exchange between them without causing problems or would cause problems. Both have their good points. LOG4OM, because i'm one of the older generation, has a learning curve that appears steeper than what HRD did years...

Re: QSL & LoTW log dates

Send me an ADIF file that was generated by HRD twenty or so duplicates please HRD records information regarding LOTW in fields which are specific to HRD and that do not conform to the latest ADIF format that is why it does not appear in HRD when you import updated data from Log4OM Why do you need t...

Re: IOTA maps

That's pretty cool but it only shows 100 rows and when i looked at it this morning, all the dates were only 2017. What about previous expeditions or operations? I didn't see any way to go back over the years to see anything of past operations. Changing to HF bands didn't make a difference either. Ca...
