Re: Call Sign on Printed Labels?

Are you referring to callsign on the MAIL TO address label? If you intend to put green stamps in the envelope, this is not a good idea. It indicates to unscrupulous mail carriers that there may be something of value in the envelope. It's best to keep mailing addresses on the envelope as generic as ...

Re: Problems on initial install

Gary, Welcome aboard to V1 of Log4OM. We're deep into Beta testing of V2 and that is around the corner. Regardless ... in case you have not done so yet, download the Log4OM Quick Start guide and read through that. There may be something you overlooked during your installation and might be noted in t...

Re: Label Design window

Rory, A couple years ago I tackled setting up labels for the variety I was using and my printer. All the measurements you can glean will get you in the ballpark, but you will have to tweak as each printer has its own nuances. One thing I was doing (wrong) was that I had set my PDF file to "fit" on t...

Re: log set up

Ray,

I provided some information and links in your question in this section about eQSL downloads.

You need to have your database set up first before you upload/download to/from eQSL and LOTW, etc..

Re: Icom 756 ProIII interface

Rory, I'll assume you are using OmniRig for the CAT control from Log4OM and your rig. Couple things: Make sure both OmniRig and Log4OM are running with Admin privileges Make sure you also have the most recent version of OmniRig and the related rig "ini" files installed. Double check the rig ini file...

Re: New User K5CKS

Rory,

Just echoing what Terry noted

Just wait until you can operate with V2. It is way past amazing.

I'm fortunate to be on the Alpha team and I'm continually amazed each time I'm testing and operating.

Re: 1.39 question

There could be one disadvantage to logging with WSJT-X instead of JTAlertX. If you do this, JTAlert might not work for giving you alerts, and Scan Log might not work. And that may not be any problem for some OM. They may not want to use JTAlert or may not even be aware of its availability. At the l...

Re: English Manual

Did you do the "force download" from that same help memo first?

Terry noted that in another post. I did that and the updated guide worked just fine.
