DXCC: Separate LoTW and QSL Card Submissions

Since the ARRL (now) treats DXCC submissions separately for LoTW verifications and QSL Cards, it would make sense to be able to do these separately in Log4OM. For this one would typically want: 1. QSL Card submission should only generate a list of QSL's for submission that ignores all valid LoTW's t...

Re: "Consolidated" listing for DXCC submission

Question answered. Just got off the phone with Doug, W7DRM - once the QSL's have been selected and marked for submission, for each category, they all remain marked. Then they can be queried and exported into ADIF, ready for submission. Thanks, Doug - I really appreciate the help and the other sugges...

"Consolidated" listing for DXCC submission

I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to combine all my QSL's for multiple endorsements for DXCC in a single submission. I'm curious, for those of you who have done it, how did you approach it? Did you list out all the individual awards and then use a spreadsheet to combine them all into one list?...

Re: Can't select different mode

I guess my post was confusing - sorry, Doug. Actually, it is a little confusing, but it is consistent. If Log4 shows USB and the rig is on DIGI-U after jumping on a RTTY spot, I can change Log4 mode to RTTY and it sticks. Now, if I switch the rig from DIGI-U to RTTY, Log4 does not change - it stays ...

Re: Generating DXCC submission list

Agreed - but others moving from DX4WIN to Log4OM may have the same problem, so it made sense to document this in case one of them has the same problem with the data. Thanks again, Terry.

Re: Can't select different mode

Thanks Duane. Do you have to click on the padlock button to change modes in the above case? Doug - W7DRM Doug - No! Sequence is that I jump on a Digital spot (for example), and it sets my FLEX to DIGI-U mode but Log4OM shows USB. I click the Mode selector and select "RTTY" and it sticks. Now if I g...

Re: Generating DXCC submission list

I will post the following in the off chance that someone else will have this same problem. My database was created originally by importing data exported in ADIF format from DX4WIN 8.05. Apparently, something about the QSL status that results from that process "breaks" the normal processing that Log4...

Re: Can't select different mode

Don't know if this helps, but with a different rig (FLEX-6000/SmartSDR), Omnirig, SCat, I can select a different mode after jumping on a spot (i.e., a PSK-31 spot that sends the rig to Digi-U, but sets the mode to be logged to "USB.") It remains on PSK-31 regardless of what I do except for jumping o...

Re: Generating DXCC submission list

Didn't work when I tried it. I've sent an email to Terry on it.

Re: Identifying RTTY vs "Digital"

Thanks once again, Doug. Yes, I noticed today that clicking on a spot for RTTY on 17m (18100 Khz) Log4OM loaded "SSB." I've got a FLEX-6500 and I'm using his SmartSDR rig .ini file. I'll take a look in there and see if I can tell what needs to change. That might help until a better solution is avail...
