Re: Identifying RTTY vs "Digital"

Thanks once again, Doug. Yes, I noticed today that clicking on a spot for RTTY on 17m (18100 Khz) Log4OM loaded "SSB." I've got a FLEX-6500 and I'm using his SmartSDR rig .ini file. I'll take a look in there and see if I can tell what needs to change. That might help until a better solution is avail...

Re: Generating DXCC submission list

Doug, you're correct that I have not been marking them as I go because (1) many were imported from DX4WIN where the QSO's are not marked until it's time to submit, and, (2) when I receive a QSL card I may or may not know if this was a needed QSL for an award. (These days, most of the ones I send for...

Re: Generating DXCC submission list

Ok, first let's talk about what you suggested - it appears to work differently for me, and I'm not sure why. When I proceed through the steps you describe, my list includes all (?) of my QSO's with credit already Granted. Example attached. Included in the list are countries which have no new QSL's t...

Re: Generating DXCC submission list

OK, that's a great start, Terry - thanks! Somehow I keep missing those "commands" at the bottom of the window.

Generating DXCC submission list

Perhaps I'm missing something in the manual, but I don't see any way to generate a list of QSL's needed for a DXCC submission other than doing it manually. Is this true? If so, I guess I'm spoiled by DX4WIN which generates the list for submission . . .

Thanks in advance and 73,
Duane

Re: Identifying RTTY vs "Digital"

Thanks, Doug. Hopefully the argument makes sense to the Omnirig author because as a fairly active RTTY'er, the lack of this support makes Log4OM a little unwieldy. Especially if the QSO gets logged as "USB" instead of RTTY and I don't catch it. The spotting items are fairly widely used, so, hopefull...

Identifying RTTY vs "Digital"

RTTY is, indeed, a digital mode, but operating it is usually very different for those serious about it. For that reason, it would be nice if the following aids could be incorporated: 1. Sending spots - when in RTTY mode, append the text string RTTY in the comments field of the spot. Many other softw...

Re: Freeze Cluster

I agree with Mike - it would be nice if one could click the callsign sort and have the cluster freeze (just the current list - allow it to continue updating in the background) and then return to normal mode when the user is done finding the callsign in question. During busy contest weekends like the...

Re: Incorrect Timestamp for Dxpeditions

As someone who has always used the "start QSO time when leaving Callsign field" due to it being very useful in a previous logger, let me ask this question. If you turn this option off, exactly when is the time set for the start of the QSO? When "Enter" is hit? (and I notice one must be in the callsi...
