Re: how to keep Log4OM on top?

You may use a third party util that does that.

I'm using "Always-on-Top.exe" a extreme small program witch can make any window stay on top by pressing CTRL + SPACE while it is in focus

You can find it here

Re: Transverter offset

As i also have a FT-897 i can give you the .ini here also. for setting the frequency: [pmFreq] Command=00000000.01 Value=0|4|vfBcdBU|0.1|-4100000 ReplyLength=1 [pmRitOffset] Command=00000000.F5 Value=0|4|vfBcdBS|0.1|-4100000 ReplyLength=1 The FT-897 uses 10 Hz frequency steps, so it -41000000 become...

Re: Transverter offset

Transverter offset is possible in Omnirig, you have to create an .ini for it, as an example i will only show the changed lines for my set (TS-590) My transverter has an oscillator of 41MHz, and transverts 29MHz from and to 70 MHz [pmFreqA] Command=(FA...........;) Value=2|11|vfText|1|-41000000 Reply...

Re: K1EL Winkeyer Error

Since the winkey bug is not yet crushed i share my own contraption here. it is a very simple program with macro keys to send CW and log the QSO in Log4OM. Your warranty for this software ends before the download is finished , just so you know. Use it at your own risk. (works fine here) It uses the A...

Re: What are your regular expressions ?

That's nice to hear. Got another question. it seems like only the "DX CALLSIGN" and the "NOTES" fields are routed trough the regular expression engine. I am unable for example to highlight certain frequency or band or spotter callsign or anything else. As i am also active on VHF i am trying to get t...

Re: What are your regular expressions ?

I wish i was a regular expression guru, then i could probably half the length of the definition below, but i am not. Some Special Event Stations where missed by the previous version. So now an updated one. Seems to be working quiet well missing only few and also few false positive's. ((SES)|(ses)|(S...

What are your regular expressions ?

I know that regular expressions are a very powerful filter and selection language, However i am not a powerful regular expressions wizard. But i made an effort to make one for SES (Special event stations) , its far form perfect and i would like to invite anyone to help and fine-tune it. ((SES)|(ses)...

Re: Why is Communicator a stand alone program

No issues (i wouldn't have posted it in the general discussion otherwise) its just a though, and i was curious what the reason is behind this design. i can live with it, although a minimize to tray option would be nice in my opinion. I am generally very pleased with Log4OM, been looking for a long t...

Why is Communicator a stand alone program

The title is my question. Why is communicator a standalone program and is it not integrated in the Settings/Options menu for example. That would make more sense to me. Now i have everything configured there is no need for me to do anything with it. It just sits there occupying space on my taskbar. O...

Re: K1EL Winkeyer Error

Since i made a very simple program, just sending macro's. There is not much initializing going on. I open the port with 1200 8N1 , wait half a second and send: 0x00 0x02 to get the Winkey2 into hostmode, i wait for the response from the winkey2 with its revision number. ( 0x19 in my case.) After tha...
