Selecting Default Mode and Band

I think it is not possible to change the default Mode from SSB or the default band from 20m. I have wanted to do that and read a post that said it is not possible. In some of the setup files like ReportListCW.txt, the default selection is designated with a *. Could this method also be incorporated f...

reportlistjt.txt missing +00 entry

I log FT-8 contacts using JTAlert along with WSJT-X like many folks do. When a signal report of 0 is sent or received, it is logged as +00. The default reportlistjt.txt file that comes with Ver 1.30 does not have +00 as a value although it does have 00. QSO's log ok with +00 but if you open one to d...

Re: LoTW weirdness

I am glad I ran into this thread since I am having the same problem. I am not a programmer and do not particularly want to mess with the database. So what should I do? Has the lotw staff been made aware of this problem and if so are they going to fix it? Should I just on saving FT8 contacts and doi...

Re: LoTW weirdness

If you download the sqlite3 command line utility you can fix this util LOTW or Log4OM fixes this. Just run 'sqlite3 database.sqlite' with whatever your database name is and do this: update log set state=SUBSTR(state,1,2); de Mike W9MDB Mike, That was easy but yesterday I had a QSO with VK2DX in New...

Re: LoTW weirdness

Thanks to everyone for chiming in. If I had known it was not me, I would have slept better last night! I happened to see the // in a few log entries but I have that column width narrowed down so it wasn't super obvious and I just thought humpf. It raised its ugly head when I later did a Scan Log and...

LoTW weirdness

I think I'm going crazy and cannot imagine what I've done. Starting on 12/12/17, when a QSO verification is downloaded from LoTW, the state field of the QSO record is being changed. This is a little hard to explain but the State field was IN before the verification download from LoTW and after the f...

Re: Starting external software using multiple profiles

I did ask Lele to look at this post I will ask him again Terry, thanks! Running is the actual working configuration. Active is the configuration that will be active from next start Daniele, Thank you, that makes sense! If I just start Log4OM without a CONFIG=parameter, it does as you say and everyt...

Re: Starting external software using multiple profiles

Try running Log4OM as an administrator as detailed in our user guide then it will start in admin mode without issue Terry, I have been running Log4OM as an administrator. I have LogOMUI.exe set to run as administrator for all users. I think those are the only instructions in the user guide. What I ...

Re: Starting external software using multiple profiles

Laurie, Thanks for the reply. Actually, your idea was my first choice however, I wasn't able to figure out how to run Log4OM this way as an administrator without the annoying UAC prompt (which I could shut off completely but I don't really want to do that). My normal way to start Log4OM is to launch...
