Re: Steppir control

Andy. This is not the least expensive of solutions, but I use a Microham Microkeyer II in my station. This provides the CAT interface to my transceiver, and connects to my PC where I run Log4OM. Microham also sell a "iLink to SteppIR" cable which plugs into the Microkeyer and directly controls the S...

Re: CQ And ITU Zone Matching the US State

If you are looking for a list of W1AW portable stations then one can download this file from the ARRL website http://www.arrl.org/files/file/On%20the ... 4_sked.pdf. It tells you the week in which each State will be active.

Re: HK0 = United States !!

Thanks Lele. All I can say is hurrah for I will evaluate the possibility to create an user file with "static" countries (not an SCL file) where an user can add <callsign>;<dxcc> and have this written on the rock in the software. We will not mantain this file, that will be entirely on the final user ...

Re: HK0 = United States !!

I am not after Chuck adding the whole FCC call database to the SCL file, but the problem would be solved if some calls can be added to SCL such as NL7XM in PA? We need a way to reasonably accept these types of requests.

Re: HK0 = United States !!

My biggest reason for wanting a user defined SCL is more focussed on stations in the USA. I have discussed this before with Chuck but he does not have the time to enter all the USA stations using their old callsigns when operating from elsewhere in the USA. A classic example is NL7XM/B which is a Si...

HK0 = United States !!

I am seeing cluster spots today for HK0/N7UN and it shows the country as "United States". We really do need some kind of user defined SCL so as to be able to correct these spots while waiting for the official SCL list to be updated?

Worked but not Confirmed

I find it very useful to be able use colours to highlight spots in the Cluster window, for new countries and or bandslots.
However what I would also like to highlight with a different colour would be countries worked on a particular band, but not yet confirmed.

Re: GA prefix resolving to England

Well at least there is some logic to the GA allocation by the UK regulator, unlike the USA and Dependencies who have made a complete mockery of the prefix process.

Re: GA prefix resolving to England

I thought it was fixed but apparantly not. Check your cluster spots today for GA5CX and you will see them resolve to England.
