Re: Slow database lookup?

Last time I encountered this the user was using Google Chrome Browser which was doing all manner of odd things in the background I don't have, and never have had, Chrome. However, the good news is that I think I have found the problem... Under "Settings 1" there is a tick box marked "Realtime previ...

Net Control window start time wrong

When using the Net Control window, stations that are in the left hand part of the window (active in the net) can be moved up and down the list in order to keep them in the correct "running order"... However, when you move them up or down the list their start times change to the time that you move th...

Re: Slow database lookup?

You probably had a bad download or install, I suggest that you uninstall, do a fresh download and reinstall (Don't forget yo install as an administrator. I've just restored the PC to a point prior to installing MySQL, swapped back to SQLite, de-installed Log4OM (ver 1.24) and installed a freshly do...

Re: Slow database lookup?

Terry are you running MySQL, or SQLite? The PC is no slouch, I have just a shade under 7000 records in Winlog32 and that is "instant" at looking up previous QSOs. Just checked both side by side and the difference is like night and day. I've just updated the database from SQLite to MySQL, it makes no...

Slow database lookup?

I'm running ver 1.24, SQLite and just over 7000 QSOs in the database. The PC is running Windows 7/64 on a 2.6 GHz processor. When I enter a call for a station I've previously worked, or click on a similar call on the cluster display, it takes several seconds for the QSO Lookup to show previous QSOs....

Re: Cluster Filters

Hi Terry

Showing the spot time in red appears on my laptop with Log4OM ver 1.24 regardless of that setting... I haven't access to my desktop PC at the moment, but I'll check that too.

Thanks for pointing out the setting, it wasn't obvious.

Re: Cluster Filters

On the same theme, a facility to highlight LOTW users (as opposed to the current tick box that only shows LOTW cluster stations) would be useful and should be fairly easy.

Re: Shutdown Omnirig on program exit?

Hi Terry

Sorted! I also run CW Skimmer which shouldn't use Omnirig as it's not controlling a rig. However, CW Skimmer does start Omnirig... So, closing Skimmer and Log4OM also shuts down Omnirig.

All is well, I'll go back to sleep now!

Perhaps with an option box?
I needed to update the firmware on my K3 and had to manually shut down Omnirig, not hard, but a little messy.

Shutdown Omnirig on program exit?

After running Log4OM, I have to manually stop Omnirig if I want to run anything else with my rig.

Is there a means of shutting down Omnirig on program exit? Perhaps an option "tick box" as maybe not everyone would want to shut it down.
