Re: Shutdown Omnirig on program exit?

Hi Terry

Sorted! I also run CW Skimmer which shouldn't use Omnirig as it's not controlling a rig. However, CW Skimmer does start Omnirig... So, closing Skimmer and Log4OM also shuts down Omnirig.

All is well, I'll go back to sleep now!

Perhaps with an option box?
I needed to update the firmware on my K3 and had to manually shut down Omnirig, not hard, but a little messy.

Shutdown Omnirig on program exit?

After running Log4OM, I have to manually stop Omnirig if I want to run anything else with my rig.

Is there a means of shutting down Omnirig on program exit? Perhaps an option "tick box" as maybe not everyone would want to shut it down.

Re: Smarter net control

I've noticed the entries from a net take several seconds to appear in the main log. This might be an issue with a future upgrade when (hopefully) closing a net and entering several calls at once. My previous log program (Winlog32), enters the members of a net into the log on call in, leaving the end...

Martin, are you using Winkey USB?

My RS232 Winkey doesn't work with v1.23 and appears to be a known issue.

Re: K1EL Winkeyer Error

I have the same problem, I am using a serial (RS232) Winkey which works fine with N1MM and Winlog32, but not with Log4OM.

O/S is Win10/64 on both a laptop and a desktop, same error issue as VK2NU on both machines.

Any update since this was discussed in January?

Re: Solar data info when "off line" initially

Those of us that operate from portable and temporary locations using a mobile phone "dongle" would appreciate the program checking solar data from time to time. In any case the internet is not 100% reliable, even for a home wired connection.

Solar data info when "off line" initially

I noticed the Solar data info seems to be read when the program is started, but not checked again. This is an issue if the program is running before the network is connected. Can the program be configured to check the solar data from time to time and keep it updated? Perhaps a "tick box" under Setti...

As a first step, not being able to connect to the Clublog site could flag up a message perhaps? Or at least avoid showing the status as "Y".

Re: Incorrect Clublog Upload Status

The fundamental flaw is the "Y" in the Clublog Upload status column on the recent QSO display. Yes, I can manually check that my internet connection hasn't dropped and that Clublog shows my recent QSOs, but that isn't convenient most times and the status report of Log4OM should be the primary means ...
