Re: Settings Russia award
Hi Daniel, I usually enter all the information I have when I enter a new QSO, directly under "Award Refs.". When I get a QSL card, I additionally add the missing information printed on the QSL card. This is definitely the most reliable way to do it, and I never had any problems with missin...

Re: Awards status
Hi Eric, If you open the QSO with TM6J and check the "Awards Refs." tab, can you see the DDFM entry in the left box? 20230723 - DDFM.png If not, please select DDFM in "Award" and double-click the DDFM-14 entry in the References list )it should appear in the left box). Save the QS...

Re: FFMA
Hi Bill,
I just added VUCC and updated a few others, now working on the FFMA award. Should be done until end of January, quite busy at the moment.
Happy New Year and 73,
Claus

Re: Setup of your own award
Hi Patrick, At the moment there is no way to track awards with callsigns worth different points. Therefore it would be necessary to have an internal list with all valid callsigns and their point value. This it not possible in Log4OM for now. I track these awards by adding the points into the comment...

Re: QSL Confirmation struggle
No need to make it more complex than necessary. I upload ALL my contacts, usually on a daily basis, to LoTW, eQSL, QRZ.com, Club Log, and all the other online services before I switch off my computer. Therefore, all is set to ‚Y‘. As mentioned before, for paper QSL cards, it works the same way like ...

Re: DXCC 60m award status
Hi Alain, I have uploaded a modified version of the DXCC award with 60m enabled as well. I think everyone active on 60m wants to track the countries. If you don‘t want 60m or VHF/UHF-bands displayed, in Awards status go to Award filters -> Band and mode and select the bands you want to see. On the m...

Re: sqlite or mysql
The SQLite library is quite small compared to a MySQL server installation (about 250 kB vs 600 MB). In SQLite everything is stored in one file, making it very easy to copy and backup. No configurations are required for SQLite, therefore it‘s very easy to use. SQLite does not have any specific User M...

Re: FFMA
Hi Bill, Tracking the FFMA in Log4OM generally should not be a big issue. But, like the VUCC award, FFMA uses the 4-digit grid squares, therefore we have to find a solution to track these awards independently from the grid square settings in Log4OM (which can be 6 digits or even longer). Please send...

Re: Problem Updating WPX
Hi Carlos, Thanks for your update. EA1/OE6CLD definitely should show up as EA1. I will do some tests but never had any problems with these kinds of callsigns. The other example is much more tricky. From my point of view, A60ZHD/2 or A60EXPO/2 are invalid - the prefix still should be A60. A2 would be...
