Re: Installed new version - no QSOs

OK thanks for the info Daniele.I just wanted to make sure I didn't make any more mistakes, but in the future I'll just upgrade without uninstalling and shouldn't have any more issues.

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs

I'm lost guys - sorry. I don't know what's going on, and I've upgraded Log4OM several times before this upgrade and I can assure you 100% I never moved any database files around - why would I do that? Why this time did it nuke my database and not the other times? Why would it even allow a person to ...

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs

I didn't change it. Mucking around with the directory that a database file is in is the last thing I would be doing around here, trust me. I wouldn't even know where to go to change it if I had wanted to. :(

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs

can you send me a copy of config.xml backupped in the roaming\logom\backup folder? The oldest file you can find there. Here there is the path to your log file (previous log file). I'm interested in seeing where the file was. I strongly suppose that file was in the c:\program (x86)\iw3hmh\log4om fol...

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs

You did make backups didn't you? Yes. I located a sqlite database in the users/.../roaming/log4om folder, but when I loaded it still no QSO appeared at all even though it had a file date of yesterday. I did reload a backup adif file into the databse from my backup folder, and it seems to have all m...

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs

Search for files with file name sqlite So *.sqlite (star dot sqlite) When you find where the logbook file is located go to File/open database and navigate to the sqlite file - click open I will but - but - What happened? Why did the database go away anyway? That didn't used to happen when installin...

Installed new version - no QSOs

I uninstalled the old version and installed v1.20 - now all my QSOs are gone. I don't understand - I though this was the proper way to do it?
