Everything worked smootly for me with the 1.5 upgrade to my 6700. My only issue now is if I click on a RTTY cluster spot, then the rig switches mode to DIGU and not RTTY. But I think this is a limitation of Omnirig and something we will have to live with.

The ARRL has announced that ver 2.1 of T-QSL is now available from the ARRL website. Anybody tested it yet to see if all is OK?

Re: Log4OM and CW Skimmer used together
Steve. The port I use for Omnirig is the one shown in the picture. I'm not using any additional ports at the moment.

I have not seen any problems with Omnirig. These are my Omnirig settings - obviously the Com Port will vary with your setup. I'm not sure about the audio IF setting in Skimmer.

Re: Log4OM and CW Skimmer used together
Steve. I have Skimmer running with Log4OM and SmartSDR. I have not found any use for SDR Bridge. I have Skimmer setup as a SoftRock-IF, and the sampling rate at 96 khz. Skimmer then follows the frequency of my 6700 using Omnirig. Note you do not need to do anything in Omnirig for this to work. Other...

Audio Keying - and recording messages
I find the current method of recording audio messages to be quite clumbersome and would like to be able to edit recorded files with a programme like Audacity. In N1MM you can separately record WAV files and then save into the appropriate folder. I have files for my callsign, calling CQ, Exchanges an...

Re: Fldigi strangness
I have a very similar setup here. Only difference is I use the Flex 6700. This is the setup I have in Fldigi. g3zss fldigi config.PNG In SmartSDR CAT, I have setup a dedicated Virtual Serial Port on Com 7. This way Fldigi is talking directly to the 6700 and not to Log4OM. My Log4OM is setup exactly ...

Re: Label Printer
I bought a QL-570 last week and am very pleased with it. Make sure you set the font size correctly in Log4OM. My default was a font size of 5 - everything was much better when increased to a 10!

Re: Adding another cluster
Out of interest, I have been using the new beta 3 version of VE7CC cluster client software. In ver 3 of VE7CC you can connect up to 5 cluster nodes simultaneously. I connect to both CDXC and GB7DXS (and occassionally my CW Skimmer) simultaneously. This way I can see the CDXC CUG spots as well as all...

Re: Win 10
Hans I have been running Windows 10 Preview for the past 3 months. I am on the "fast" update track with Win 10, so been seeing a few changes along the way from Microsoft. At this time I do not have any problems running my "ham" apps. PC is an i7 CPU with 16GB RAM plus hard drives...
