Re: Zones, both ITU and CQ
Having worked through and corrected many log records with ITU and CQ zone errors, I now know that a staggering number of QRZ record owners do not record their ITU and CQ zones correctly [think difference between a*se and elbow]. There is also a good number of subscribers who do not know the differen...

Stats and Awards .csv export has missing records
Heeding the warning about inappropriate posting within 'Error reports', I wish to report that I have noticed that there are some records missing from .csv export file compared to those shown see in the Statistics and awards pane for custom awards. Are there some known limitations on the generation o...

Re: Zones, both ITU and CQ
Hi Terry,
I think the source of the log entry will be either 4, 2 or 1 in that order. I do a lot of JT exchanges on HF/6m.
Bob.

Zones, both ITU and CQ
I'm a user of the European PSK Community and their award checking programme Ultimate ACC (.exe). As part of the checking process of the software a list of possible logging errors relating to ITU and CQ zones is produced. (This is very helpful for identifying errors in zone allocations to MGR locatio...

UK Worked All Counties
Not withstanding that WAB dropped County based awards after so many changes to the boundries over the years, what is provinance of the reference data for the @UK 60m Counties Award@ , and the 'UK Worked All Counties' award(s) and the T&Cs? There is no web link in the Award Manager, and a google ...

Re: 60 m allowed now in Germany
There were many German stations on yesterday but on frequencies outside our UK allocations so we were unable to contact them :( One way around this problem (UK restriction) is to operate 'split'. I use WSJT-X and for 60m ops often 'unlock' the Tx/Rx frequencies when necessary, thus: select the Rx f...

Re: Creating custom award
Hi Terry, thanks for your prompt reply. I have been able to achieve my primary aim of creating fresh award definitions for WAB award Grid Squares, and writing a couple of new definitions supporting the GMDX Scottish Isles ( IOSA ) and (WASPA) Prefix awards.* The secret to success appears to be follo...

Re: Creating custom award
As a potential new user of Log4OM ;) I have been trying to create custom awards in the hope that (eventually) I will be able to create a new set of WAB Award references (post-2009 removal of 'Counties' from the WAB award portfolio). Following Terry's excellent Log4OM series of vidoes on YouTube, spe...
