Re: Inconsistent Data Import from QRZ
Terry I think I've solved most of the problem. Major Issue Solved Step 1 on Pg 223 was able to be selected from the Preset Config "ADIF FROM GT/ JTALERT - OK Step 2 on Pg 223 isn't clear that you need to manually enter the info and create the connection to port 1240. There wasn't any Preset Con...

Re: connections with version 2.27
I updated to v2.29, which required the UDP changes. Terry and the support team have attempted to assist me, with no success. It sounded easy, delete the old connections and recreate them. I work in the consumer electronics industry and I write operation manuals for digital cameras. I’m pretty good a...

Re: Inconsistent Data Import from QRZ
Terry I did as you suggested. Deleted my old UDP connections as shown in the photo I posted. Next, I clicked on the "+" and selected the preconfigured setup for WSJT / JT Alert. It shows port 2237, which I changed to 2235, what my original setting was. I made sure that USE EXTERNAL DATA wa...

Re: Inconsistent Data Import from QRZ
Appreciate the fast response, but I'm a bit confused. So you are saying to delete my existing connections, and simply manually retype them in and save? If I'm entering the same commands in, how does that change anything? My existing connections reference two different port numbers, while the new scr...

Re: Inconsistent Data Import from QRZ
I realize that I need to make the required updates, starting by deleting the original UDP connections. My existing connections are shown in the photo. After I delete these, I select the “+” which gets me to the second photo. At the bottom of that screen I see 3 Preset Config selections. Here’s where...

Re: Inconsistent Data Import from QRZ
Nolan, I totally understand and I realize that its been discussed. After doing an update if LOG4OM appeared to be working, I'm wasn't trying to fix it. I interpreted the UDP changes as additional options to expand the programs capability - my error, not yours. Honestly the entire concept of UDP is f...

Re: Inconsistent Data Import from QRZ
I'm guilty, and yes you are correct. I recall seeing that mentioned but did not realize it was mandatory. If I make the changes noted above, will I still need to uninstall and reinstall what was mentioned? Was there a step-by-step procedure posted?

Re: Inconsistent Data Import from QRZ
Thanks, this worked - very easy.
FYI, when I went back and saw how many were missing Name and Address I started wondering why.
At least on my PC, this started with the last update to LOG4OM
Just downloaded the latest BETA release, I'll see if it fixes this issue
