UDP Logging strips carriage returns from multiline Address
Tested against Log4OM 1.25, both log types, sqlite and MySQL. Using the UDP logging interface, NO direct writing to the logs. The problem... When sending multi-line Address data with carriage return/line feed line endings, the carriage returns are being stripped (line feeds only remaining). This res...

Re: LOg4om and JT-alert
I have been testing JTAlert for the last couple of days and it has worked flawlessly in fact I have just added a new JTAlert section in the user guide Hi Terry, Before you email me, I am aware that the help file in the current release of JTAlert is out of date with respect to Log4OM setup. I have t...

Re: TCP Log Command - Grid not written to SQLite log
OK Terry,
The 4 char grid bug may be the root cause. Why it works for me yet not the user I am helping when we both are using the latest public release is the big unknown.
I'll wait until the next public release before pursuing this any further.

Re: TCP Log Command - Grid not written to SQLite log
Could this be the four digit locator issue Lele? If this was directed at me, yes it is a 4 char locator. But, 4 char locators work for me. Both myself and the user for which the locator logging fail are using 1.14.0 I tried enabling debugging, but the setting is never remembered. Where is the extra...

TCP Log Command - Grid not written to SQLite log
JTAlert sends a correctly formatted adif string via TCP for logging into Log4OM. SQLIte logging is being used. Log4OM 1.14.0 I am trying to debug (for one of my JTAlert users) why a valid grid included in the TCP adif string is not being recorded in the log. The user has confirmed that the grid is n...

Re: List of ADIF tags accepted in a Log Command?
Hi Daniele,
I will wait for the next release. These issues are not critical.
BTW, JT-Alert only includes adif tags if they contain valid data. There are no empty tags.

List of ADIF tags accepted in a Log Command?
Is there a list of the adif tags that are supported when performing a log command using the UDP method? During testing for JT-Alert it has been noted that the TX_PWR, QSL_SENT, QSL_RCVD, LOTW_QSL_SENT, LOTW_QSL_RCVD, EQSL_QSL_SENT and EQSL_QSL_RCVD adif tags are ignored in the adif record. de Laurie...

Re: JT Alert integration.
Art, I would rather not use this forum for JT-Alert support. I posted the announcement here as a courtesy. It sounds like you don't have the path to the Log4OM SQLite Log file correctly set with the JT-Alert Settings Window. All your questions have been answered in the Ham-Apps Yahoo group and I wil...
