Re: Wron DXCC´s in log
I noticed the same problem whilst checking IOTA groups. If, for an example, if the station is signing as OH/SP7VC the drop down still has the operator in Poland and not Finland and is showing the country as Poland and island group for the same but if an area number is inserted the correct country a...

Re: Contest Info
Terry & Danielle, I wasn't aware the received tab under "Contest info" accepted the full exchange, eg the serial number AND the island group as I thought that tab was only good for the received serial number, had I known then what I know now I' would've been satisfied with what was on ...

Re: Contest Info
Would it be possible just to flag an error if the IOTA reference was not completed during an IOTA contest entry? Like a pop up to warn the user to check F2 for missing data? I have used the contest facility several times and it works fine for me, as it did during this weekend for RSGB IOTA. It did ...

Re: Contest Info
...but, surely you must see the impracticality of after entering the signal report and serial number in "Contest Info (F3) " someone then has to leave that field and open the "Country & IOTA (F2) field just so the final piece of information can be added....the IOTA number of the I...

Re: Contest Info
Hi Terry , I am still learning a lot of LOG4OM. One more question: What is the use of the TEN-TEN field in F3? I cannot find an explanation. Olaf, it's an organisation aimed at promoting 10m activity, you join and are given a 10-10 number whereupon you seek out other members and exchange numbers. h...

Re: Contest Info
That's information you have to manually input, it doesn't occur automatically in "Contest Mode". An example of what I'm referring to is; I've just worked OH6RX and he give me the exchange 59 (RS report) 2030 (serial number) EU-101 (IOTA), under Contest Mode I can input the RS and the Seria...

Contest Info
Contest Mode....what am I doing wrong? After enabling Contest Mode and selecting the appropriate contest template, eg. for this weekend's contest I've selected RSGB-IOTA, clicked Auto generate starting the serial from 001, then highlighted the Cluster to see Who & Where.....a tab for my sent aut...

Re: Grid square plotting
I've just discovered the logger doesn't recognise a 4 character grid locator, not too handy when todays contest exchange in the CQ WW VHF Contest is a signal report and the 4 character grid, what I thought were completed log entries turn out to be missing half the necessary info.

Re: Grid square plotting
Thank you too Jurgen and hopefully we'll soon have grid plot mapping to show the grid worked.
