Re: eQSL Image download issues
No we will use what we download we have no need to change the extension name because normal programs will open it ok as does my copy of Adobe Photoshop. We can't legistrate for the idiosyncrasies of every piece of software just the mainstream programs like Windows picture viewer, Windows paint, Ado...

Re: eQSL Image download issues
If you open a single image file you will find that the first bytes reports PNG as file extension. Also, Log4OM uses the same extension that eQSL is providing. This is a link to a QSO made by me (link is temporary, so will work for some hours) http://www.eqsl.cc/CFFileServlet/_cf_image/_cfimg-775785...

Re: eQSL Image download issues
Then my guess would be that Infranview has a setting that says convert file extensions to jpg No, that's not the problem - irfanview is correct. Here's what I did to check that. I went directly to eQSL and downloaded a QSL pic. It's native format is .jpg from the eQSL site - just like what irfanvie...

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs
Installed the new version - same thing as always. All QSOs gone. I re-loaded a backup file (which I presumed I would need anyway after the upgrade) and all is back to normal. I guess I can live with it but it's interesting.

Re: eQSL Image download issues
I'm using Win7 - 64 bit. No other problems at all. I have no issues opening jpg or png files with any error messages. My default viewer is the popular irfanview, which I've used for many years. By the way, I didn't say it wouldn't open, it simply wants to rename the file to the proper format - it do...

eQSL Image download issues
Just installed the new version of Log4OM - 1.22.0 I tried the new eQSL image feature. I downloaded all my eQSLs, and opened an image by double clicking it in the QSL archive tab (see attachment). The process as seen here is documented in the attached images. It appears that all the images downloaded...

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs
OK Team viewer is set up. I actually told my brother about it and we set it up on my mother's PC so we can help her when she asks us weird questions about what she sees on her screen we don't have to go over there. Anyway, it's set and working, up so let me know when you want to look in. I'll have t...

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs
Guys, I've been through this once before. I didn't change anything since the last time this happened. I didn't even change a single setting in the program - nothing. All I did this time was download and install the new version, (without uninstalling the old one as the instructions say), and all my Q...

Re: Installed new version - no QSOs
I just upgraded to the latest version and again - all my QSOs were gone after the program re-started. I did NOT uninstall before installing. I imported the last backup ADIF file and there all there now, but this keeps happening to me. I wish I could find out why.
