2.7.0.0 and Net Control
There has been a glitch appear between ver 2.6.1.0 and 2.7.0.0, in that moving someone in the Net Control "NET USERS" list to "ON AIR" and back again results in their name and QTH changing from your entry details to those on QRZ.com However, on closing the net and opening it agai...

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM
Guy, I posted this in another thread where another ham was having issues with an Icom rig. I use Minos for VHF/UHF contests, and I think it uses only Hamlib and AFAIK currently has no IC-7300 or IC-9700 settings... but Omnirig has both and the IC-9700 setting works with my IC-9700: This is from the ...

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM
Sorry, perhaps it should be a rig control thread. BTW, what issue do you have with Omnirig? It works fine on my IC-9700 which must be similar to your 7300.G4DWV - Guy wrote: ↑07 Jun 2020, 22:56 Dave, I would be grateful if you could start your own thread, rather than hijack mine with a different issue.

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM
Back to my Omnirig and the two radios minor issue. Settings/Software Log4OM ver 2.6.1.0 running under Windows 10 Pro 64 bit (2004 ver) Omnirig 1.19 Neither of above are running as Administrator. Rig 1, K3 on RS232 Rig 2, IC-9700 via USB cable (now configured in rig and Omnirig as an IC-9700, CI-V se...

Re: USB cable type and ECHO Back in IC-7610
There are some settings in Icom radios that may be essential in order to work with log programs. This is from the rig control page (p 52) in the Minos VHF/UHF contest logging program user guide and may be relevant: you need to ensure that "CI-V Echo Back" is "ON" in the settings ...

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM
Thanks Juergen. I’m not at home at the moment but will check later. The issue with “Rig 2” appears to be more of an Omnirig problem. OK on the file for Omnirig. I’ll check that out, although I am reluctant to change the CI-V settings in my 9700 as I also use the Minos VHF/UHF contest log program and...

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM
As I've noted let us know your OmniRig details and lets see if we can resolve them. <snip> Take care and lets see if we can resolve the OmniRig items. Nolan I have a minor issue with Omnirig. I don’t know if it is Omnirig or Log4OM... versions are: Omnirig 1.19 Log4OM 2.6.1 O/S Win 10 Pro 64 bit (2...

Re: Grid and distance???
This is a known issue that has been fixed for next release Terry Can you post a list of known issues and what is being worked on for future releases? One issue for me is the auto lookup of data when entering a QSO. If using QRZ it auto enters “F Bloggs” (or whatever his QRZ entry is), even if using...

Re: Omni Rig Stopped Connecting
I find Omnirig a bit troublesome at times, although I assume it is Omnirig rather than Log4OM. I am using Omnirig ver 1.19, Log4OM ver 2.6.1, radio 1 is a K3 connected via RS232. Radio 2 is an IC-9700 connected via USB (set as IC-9100 with appropriate CI-V address change in the 9700). If both radios...

Re: skimmer decoding capacity
Have you checked in Windows Task Manager to see how much of your resources are used by Skimmer? I am running Skimmer Server ver 1.6 with a QS1R SDR receiver and 7 x 96 KHz bands simultaneously decoded. The number of decoders obviously varies but is around 140 ~ 150 at the moment, CPU used by Skimmer...
