Re: LOTW and eQSL manual uploads

I tried the uploads again today for a support request and they worked okay! Bloody computers!

Re: CAT Issues

Hi Terry, I am not hell-bent on using Hamlib. I just want to use it to see if it performs better for me. I have heard from Michael Black. He said "Log4OM has never updated their hamlib". He also says that he will be releasing an RC for v4 and "maybe they will update eventually". ...

Re: CAT Issues

As an aside and not trying in any way to influence your choice, but I cannot see any advantage with Hamlib only disadvantages as below, perhaps you can educate me and explain why Hamlib is so much better? 1. Hamlib only displays one radio VFO 2. Hamlib cannot switch between two different radios 3. ...

Re: CAT Issues

If you and GW4XCA are using HamLib with no issues then I'm not sure why you keep pushing that you have problems with OmniRig? As I've asked you on other threads ... pls follow the posting instructions by Doug Munday in the FAQ about seeking support and we will do all we can to try and resolve your ...

LOTW and eQSL manual uploads

Hi, I have followed the steps in the manual for uploading the required files, but the 'sent' flag (set as 'requested' in each case) does not change in either case. EQSL shows a green progress bar that gets to the end in upload confirmations, but no orange text. LOTW shows 'LOTW End' since the first ...

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM

Guy, Tnx you very much for finally adding clarity for me and my aging gray matter. I'll stop pestering you about OmniRig data poiints - ;) Have you looked into using any other IC configurations that may work across a couple different model numbers? I will do some additional digging to see about you...

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM

Dave, I would be grateful if you could start your own thread, rather than hijack mine with a different issue.

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM

You will not get my description of the Omnirig issues because I want to use hamlib instead. The latter has always worked for me and I just need to know how the hamlib in Log4OM can be made to show a list of the latest rigs that are supported. I do NOT want help with Omnirig, but with Hamlib as used ...

Re: JTAlert and Duplicate QSOs (I HAVE read the manual)

Hi,
Neither of those options worked, I'm afraid.
Cheers
UPDATE:- Now, with both ADIF monitor enabled and the fldigi log enabled, I am getting one entry per QSO! I am getting an entry without the op's name, but would prefer the one with the name.

Re: Hamlib version used in Log4OM

Jurgen, Hamlib only is included by default in WSJT-X and JTDX. Considering the success of FT8, one may assume that it works for many people. This is not double helped by one of the main devs of WSJT-X being a Hamlib dev too. I have had nothing but headaches with Omnirig, not helped by Log4OM 2 showi...
