Guess it was a singular event. Just did an extended test, selecting a different value each time and relaunching Log4OM. 100% success, previous values were all restored. Very sorry for false alarm.

In 2.23, the selected QSL type (in my case LOTW) was saved between sessions.
In 2.24, the value returns to QSL (default) when restarting Log4OM

Not a solution, but an easy workaround: Use OmniRig instead of HamLib.

Thanks for your reply. I'm using the latest Google Chrome browser, and yes, my credentials for the forum are stored in the browser. Therefore it doesn't take much time to login with every visit.

Update TQSL to latest version. From the TQSL release notes:

2.6.1: Fix a major error in handing previously uploaded QSOs that can cause TQSL
to either hang or keep asking how to handle those QSOs.
