Rogue locator square ignore feature
Many hams do not have the correct locator square on QRZ.com... even when they have entered details in their biography  In the case of stations in England the default square is IO91vl which puts them in London. A lot of English hams have this square on QRZ.com, which is frustrating when working...

Re: 2.7.0.0 Recent QSO's: refreshing and other errors
When loading several calls in quick succession, such as when closing a net with net control, each entry results in looking up details via an external lookup (eg QRZ.com if enabled). The unnecessary lookups may be the cause of temporary loss of entries that appear after several seconds. The issue iss...

Re: Loss of connection to Omnirig in ver 2.7.0.0
I am using both Log4OM and Omnirig as "administrator" and Log4OM lost contact with Omnirig this morning... Both radios turned on when it happened. Log4OM ver 2.7.0.2 and Omnirig 1.19 BTW, needing to run a program as "administrator" is an indication the program is needing to write...

Re: Manual frequency entry
Yes, except that in ver 1 you could click on the field, type 3558.5 and that was it... In ver 2 you can tab, but you have to enter 3558 <tab> 500, otherwise it enters 3558.005 KHz instead of 3558.5 KHz. A lot more faffing around in my opinion.

Loss of connection to Omnirig in ver 2.7.0.0
On three occasions, Log4OM has lost connection to Omnirig. Running ver 1.41 in parallel shows both radios connected and I can switch rigs in ver 1.41 while 2.7,0,0 is unable to communicate with Omnirig. Omnirig is ver 1.19, rig 1 is a K3 on RS232 and rig 2 is an IC-9700. Both Log4OM and Omnirig are ...

Manual frequency entry
I hope this isn’t seen as nitpicking, but in ver 1 you could type in a frequency in KHz with a decimal point, eg 3558.5, hit enter and the correct frequency went in the log.
In ver 2.7.0.0, you have to separately enter KHz and Hz, you cannot enter a decimal point...

Re: 2.7.0.0 Recent QSO's: refreshing and other errors
I have noticed “missing entries” in the log when closing Net Control, that mysteriously appear later. I don’t know if it happened on earlier versions but has happened with 2.7.0.0 under Win 10 Pro 64 bit (2004). My ver 2.7.0.0 lost contact with Omnirig (1.19) this morning too, when I ran ver 1.41 in...

Bugs/differences ver 2.7 vs ver 1
Comparing version 1.41 side by side with version 2.7.0.0, I note a few errors/bugs that have appeared in version 2. If I may, here are my findings, in no particular order. I hope I explain the issues clearly: 1. Net Control and previous QSO lookup. In version 1, Net Control puts your chosen name and...
