The reason might be that LOTW confirmations are not relevant for POTA. The only way that a POTA contact gets confirmed for that award is if the POTA activator submits his log to POTA.

Re: Grid Square logging
I have been having similar problems, which I posted about in the Error Reports section of the forum. As I said there, the problem I was having was in the beta version, 2.26.0.3, I reverted back to 2.26.0.0, and have not had that problem. Something seems to have changed in the beta version. 73, Jim N...

Thank you. Yes, I have been reading those posts, also. The problem I was having was in the beta version, 2.26.0.3, I reverted back to 2.26.0.0, and have not had that problem. Something seems to have changed in the beta version.

Re: Incorrect Grid Logged
This seems to be happening with other calls also. Furthermore, K7IOC uploaded to LOTW with grid CN88SE, and Log4OM didn't change the grid from DN11.

Incorrect Grid Logged
Using: Log4OM 2.26.0.3 WSJT-X 2.6.1 JtAlert 2.60.4 Beta 0009 Win 11 I worked K7IOC today on FT8. He was sending grid CN88. However, Log4OM logged him as DN11. CN88 was the grid he was sending, and it was the grid sent to Log4OM by JTAlert. This shouldn't be a matter of lookups, cty files, Clublog, o...

Re: WSJT-X to Log4OM v2 not working
1. The message may not mean the QSO was not logged - check Log4OM and see if the QSO is there 2. There is a setting in WSJT where you can change the interval at which that message apears, try setting it for a longer time Terry, The interval change setting is in JTAlert, not WSJT-X. 73, Jim N6VH

Re: Desktop link has vanished
You said "Windows 10 has not done any updates since I updated the latest version of LOG4OM". You might want to check the Definition Updates under Update History. The Defender updates get installed quite frequently, without any action from you, and without notifying you.

Re: USA-CA refs. problem
Virginia Beach is an independent city. For CQ magazine USA-CA and Marac awards, it counts for Isle of Wight.

Re: V2 not logging correctly from WSJT-X
Geoff, This is not a Log4OM error. The frequencies logged are those sent by WSJT-X, which sends the same frequency for both TX and RX. It uses your TX frequency. As far as the band is concerned, it should be the same anyhow, at least as far as FT8 and FT4 modes are concerned. 73, Jim N6VH P. S. I mi...

Re: Bogus grid squares added automatically
Nolan, I unchecked both the Clublog and cty boxes. Now, no grid is entered, However, incorrect CQ and ITU zones are still being entered, I entered a non-existent USA call, and it put the station in CQ zone 5 and ITU zone 6. Those two are mutually exclusive. I didn't test lookups, because I don't wan...
