Dupe checking with FLDIGI

Post by KW0RH »

I see elsewhere in the forums that LOG4OM cannot automatically check for previously worked callsigns when using FLDIGI unless the callsign appears in the cluster window. As a recent HRD convert this feature is sorely missed and I'm wondering how others are addressing dupe checking before you call a station? I've seen receive window popups mentioned in the FLDIGI documentation but nothing happens when I cursor over a callsign. Is copy /paste the only option?

You need to ask that question of the FLDigi developers

If FLDigi provided a real time interface to our SQLite database then it would be possible for them to add that feature to FLDigi at the moment they just create an ADIF file for the QSO and we have to collect that data from FLDigi at the point where the QSO is added (saved) in FLDigi, up until that point we have no awareness of the QSO
