Is it possible to add a CW Winkey function?

If not, how about integration with DXLabs WinWarbler?

Thanks. I like the simplicity of this program yet it still does quite a bit...probably all I need but I operate 90 percent CW.

Daniele has a Winkeyer USB and full support is on our planned feature list.

See http://www.pisto.it/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=74 for the full list

Thanks Terry.

Any chance to interface with winwarbler? It handles cw, psk, Fisk, etc.

We already have an interface for DM780, FlDigi (beta) and MixW is on our future enhancements list.

Winwarbler could be a possibility but at first glance it does not seem to support TCP or UDP communication? so I am guessing it uses a dll to talk to other software and the rest of the DXLabs suite.

It is unlikely that Dave of DXLabs would be willing to produce a dll to talk to Log4OM so I doubt that your request could become reality.

We have a very unique and advanced Communicator module built into Log4OM that can handle most software communications protocols, this enables other developers to bridge to our software.

All three of the program's that are mentioned above do CW,PSK,and many other modes and MixW does FSK RTTY

Thanks. I tried with DM780 and I cannot fill in the log fields. Apparently they only fill in when clicking on received data but I don't use that part for CW....I just want the TX keyer option. I'll keep trying and will try FLDigi but I don't think it does regular CW or FSK does it?

Thanks!

No Fldigi does not do regular CW or FSK, but in time we will Winkeyer support and of course MixW does FSK RTTY and I believe true CW

Hi Terry,
You are right.
MixW does true CW, however I found that fldigi is better on decoding less errors on receiving even with same QRM level MixW vs fldigi.

Hi Manuel,
Yes I agree!

I use both programs MIxW for RTTY and FLDigi for PSK etc

Just need a decent Winkeyer interface in Log4OM because I dont like the one in MixW so end up using the K1EL programs

Any progress on the WinKey implementation?

Thanks and 73.

Looking forward to start using the new Flex 6700 with Log4OM this weekend.

Winkey is on our list.
Before (or meanwhile, depends on how we're proceeding) we have the implementation of a new set of awards and a major upgrade to latest ADIF definition protocol.

We will support winkey very soon, but before we need to address some major things and make an extensive test over new winkey function.
Stay tuned :D

by the way: Flex 6700... fantastic :)
