There are much better ways of managing QSL status.

I would hate to see the F8 window looking like an explosion in a Paint Factory.

This is the sort of mess it would look like

afternoon Terry,
I' d like to do a check on missing QSLs for some awards and perhaps do a qsl sending to complete it

what is the best way to extract all Worked QSO in the log (70.000 Qso) for an award (for example dxcc challenge, or WAZ 80) ?

tnx fer suggestion

So this is QSO's that have not been confirmed by paper QSL or LOTW confirmation (V-Verified)

Does this include QSO's that you already sent a card for and uploaded to LOTW? Like you need to try to get confirmation by a second attempt

award manager "preselect" the right QSO for you... it should work...

If I understand your request this can be accomplished in the Statistics and Awards manager as Lele mentioned in his reply, perhaps the screen shots below helps you.

I just selected the WAZ award then the 80M band

clicked worked only

Selected "Suggest QSO's for submission" from the "Actions" drop down menu

As you can see those QSO's that have been confirmed and that are eligible have been identified for submitting for the award

Also by clicking on the Grey "W" worked cells you can see at a glance those QSO's for which a confirmation is required that perhaps a request to the other station may be needed to confirm another zone.

ciao Lele and Terry
tnx fer reply and screenshots.

I am sure now that right way to collect Worked contacts (referring on specific award) should be done inside the awards itself, row by row; exporting adif or csv could help collecting all contacts in one list, if needed.

It is fine, it works.

My approach was to collect the Worked qsos with the search paramenter tool, but I was wrong as it is not the right way !

Ciao Don,
there is not a predefined way to do things.
We simply choose our way, but software is flexible enough to allow you working in another way, maybe longer or less intuitive than the predefined process.

it's hard to make everyone happy :)
