JT65 & JT9 signal reports

Hardly a big problem but when using JT65 or JT9, the pull down menus for signal reports give the option of choosing -1,-2, -3 ect. Reports for these modes are two digit as it -01, -02, -03 ect. Would it be possible for the next update or the future release of Log4OM to have the correct signal reports in the pull down menu?

I believe that you have been in hospital, hope all ok Terry.

Hi Chris,

where is the difference between -01 or -1 ??? Is there a special rule that prefer 2 digit reports for the JT modes ? (Maybe ARRL LotW, eQSL or other services) ;) ;)

On my Log4om the pull down menus are -01 thru to -30. It is possible that I changed them myself a long time ago. I think I did change them somewhere in the program, but cannot say for sure that this is so. For what its worth, I have been doing JT65 & JT9 for many many years and worked many of thousands of stns and every one of my logged entries is a two figure report.

and also, if you have not got this add-on you might find it worthwhile. Have a look at http://hamapps.com/

EDITED TO ADD...... I found the file. Using your favourite editor, (my O/S is XP Pro) go to C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXXX\Application Data\LogOM where the XXXXX is possibly your name, and look for or create a file called ReportListJt_user.txt my file looks like this :-

// a row that contains * is considered the DEFAULT VALUE
// * will be removed on load

Hello Juergen, as I said, hardly a big problem but as long as I can remember using these modes signal reports have always been two digits.

Thanks for the info John, I will have a look this evening when I finish work.

The easy way to modify the file is using "Expert mode" on the first tab of Log4om options

...but we can change the official list, if someone is able to tell me that those reports should have 2 digits...

Hello Daniele,

As you can see from the screen grab from my PC the signal reports are 2 digits following the - symbol,

RN6AM KK4HEG R-09

EA3CW RW3TY R-06
