Hi all,
I just downloaded the new version 1.22 so far looks great.
However a couple of niggling points.
Firstly the VFO A and B are a great idea, but please why is VFO B on the left hand side? Surely they should be the other way around which would match my radio. Not sure if everyone agrees but that is my suggestion.
Secondly the Statistics and Awards Icon has been removed and you now have to go into the utilities menu to open it. Was there any reason for removing the icon? Can we put it back please?
Apart from these minor points please keep up the great work on a great log.

Re: Version 1.22 Suggestions
Some of the icons were moved to make space for the VFO displays

Hi Terry,
Thanks for explaining the removal of some of the icons.
You did not make comment on the positioning of VFO A & B being the wrong way around?
Also as with a couple of other users I have to also agree that the font on the VFO readouts could possibly be a bit better as they are very difficult to read.
Apart from these 2 little points everything else is great and well done for all the time and effort you all put in.

I am not sure if the Omni-Rig v1.15 is correctly installed for me. Please note that only VFO A RX/TX apperars on the top right hand side of the home menu.VK7CW wrote: 'edited' -- You did not make comment on the positioning of VFO A & B being the wrong way around?

1) Should I be seeing VFO B somewhere else? Yaesu FT 2000 with a USB to serial port adaptor.
2) I would be nice to have user ability to change foreground /background colour, and font types, specifically for the VFO.
3) I would be really nice to have a 'SPLIT' operation condition either show the 'TX' frequency when transmitting, and/or show the VFO B frequency simultaneously. Following of course, the ability to 'save' in the log, 'Split' frequency records.
'The Beat Goes On'
To Daniele and all of the Log4OM development team, another great iteration.
Thanks and best regards,

Kumar,
Here is what I have with a FT-1000, as you can see very hard to read and VFOs around the wrong way. However the concept is great.

Re: Version 1.22 Suggestions
A couple of additional / possibly recycled suggestions:
1) Can Log4OM remember the user input on re-sizing of Columns / windows instead of reverting to a default setting?
I find that in the 'Net Control' module, I have to re-size all of the columns to read the information properly each time I use it.
2) Can the F7 = QSO information be 'always' available in its current position, with the tabs;
F8 = Recent QSO
F9 = Cluster
F10 = Cluster scanner
F11 = Browser
Being alternatively rendered in the area of the 'Map' location.
(that is below the default F7 - QSO information window)

If I understand your request in 2) above, you could try this - with the "QSO Information (F7)" tab selected, click on the "Detach Grid" button, which will open a seperate "QSO Lookup" window, which will show previous QSO's with stations entered into the Callsign field on the main window. You can also detach the Worked Bands grid. See below for an example of this - which is my "standard" layout when operating.
I hope that helps. Doug

Can these Status Buttons be made to take you to their direct option menu when 'clicked on''?
Particularly CAT status / Cluster / Super Cluster

Re: Version 1.22 Suggestions
Hi Folks,
Thanks for the continued great work on a simply teriffic logging program. Might I be so bold as to add my voice to earlier suggestions that the positions of VFO B and VFO A displays be reversed in the main window - I'm not getting any younger and keep confusing them as they are the other way around on my (and most?) rigs
