Log4OM for Clubs

I would like to introduce Log4OM in our local club and make it club's offical log application.

There is one issue. We have number of operators which would use a program. They will use club rig and club call sign. The only thing they need different when logging is operator info (signature).

As it is now, there is no easily visible info which is current operator setting.
Oenmust must open settings to check and change Operator Callsign before start logging QSO-s. SIgnature is hiden in Extended info / QSL.

It would be great if operator info could be visible all the time, and easily changed without need to go to settings.

Also, it would be nice that program recognizes operators in manner that, for example, when it finds previous QSOs with the same station, also makes visible distinction which QSOs were done by the same operator.

Actually the only way is to create multiple profiles and name each profile with the operator name.
Next version will include a start parameter to select the running profile directly with a desktop shortcut. About previous qso with another operator yes, it's possible, added to the list

Using profiles is not best option as that means all settings are copied into each profile. If something has to be changed (and surely in time it will pop up) it would be quite a work to adjust all profiles.

For club activity, ti would be better not to go that route, as the only setting that needs to be different is operator info.

There is another issue. Log uploading. As we are speaking of club station, it is advisable not to let anyone upload data but just some people, that would do review before uploading. Even more, it would be good to have an option to set log record as reviewed, meaning it may be uploaded.

You can use a profile for "normal users" where the user can change the operator callsign and other relevant informations, but without any password set in the "external upload" area.
Then create an "admin" profile with all those informations set. The administrator can review the log and manually prepare upload batches...
I can't see other options for that.If you don't trust your users and you think they can switch profile and upload data, install a portable version in a separate folder where you have set user permissions to a specific Windows user. This will prevent other users connected to the PC from using the portable installation that contains users/password for upload...

I think there are not much other options without adding a security layer to Log4OM, that is probably a bit overshooted...
