Statistics and Awards - QSL Status - Sent

Post by CT1BXX »

Dear Colleagues,
Best regards to all.
I would like to present an idea in order we can think about.
It would help a lot if in "Statistics and Awards " view we can see in a glance if a "Worked" entity the sql has been sent or not.
One easy way could be with highlight colour, I enclose a picture to help understand what I am telling.
The reason? How can we know in a rapid manner what QSL we need to send for IOTA?
I am referring to Paper qsl.
I am talking not for all but only for the new ones, those worked for first time.
Now, of course we have the informations but we need to edit to look for the QSL status, I am talking about a more intuitive and rapid way.
Thanks for reading...

So?

If worked but QSL not sent mark as Worked (W) Grey colour

If Worked and QSL sent but QSL not received mark as Worked & Sent (WS) Pink colour

If Worked and QSL received, regardless of QSL sent status mark as Confirmed (C) Green colour

Hi Terry,
Thanks,
That's it! Perfect, If an highlight is not convenient, at least a "WS" would help a lot.
All IOTA friends perhaps found this, a very good function to handle qsl cards for that purpose.
Can I imagine, that your comment is a sign of a favorable answer? :D :D :D
Thanks.

The COUNTRY/QSO status grid does exactly this.
It shows for each country/band/mode type (cw phone digital) if you have sent a QSL and if you have received a QSL.
There are a couple of screens in statistics, every single one has his own importance, even if sometime users works with the same 1 or 2...

Hi
Daniele yes you are right and the function is really very good but we need something similar for Iota purpose.
In my last software I have used , we have several filters very useful for this situation.
For IOTA we only need a single contact no matter the band or mode ( only one); so we need a listing showing Iota the very new one and not that had been missing in others bands

Example 1
EU-001
20 M confirmed
15 M Worked
EU-001 is complete because it has one qso confirmed

Example 2
EU-002
20m Worked
15 M Worked

Result: We need a qsl for EU-002 but not for EU-001

I hope I have been clear.
We need to have this information regarding the Iota Rules (a contact per Iota reference no matter de band or mode)
It can be done with a listing or making the information available as we have talked in Award Statistics in picture I sent but now for Iota.
Many thanks for your attention.

This means mixing QSL informations with specific award informations... that could drive to very intricated relationships between those data and will be really complicate...

Hi Daniele,

I understand.

And what about create an IOTA/QSO status grid similiar with The COUNTRY/QSO status grid but now only with IOTA?
Do you think it is possible?
It would help a lot
