Cluster Filters

Hello,

I would like to get the next option:

Cluster highlights : by LOTW and QSL received

Why?

I'm from the generation who still collects the paper QSL but also started LOTW (and so want them both).
I know, that the ARRL DXCC buro doesn't make a difference between paper and LOTW confirmation, but I do.
If this filter is used, it would be nice to see at a glance (not by clicking a line within this window) what the reason is why it went through the filter (either LOTW, QSL, or LOTW and QSL needed for that specific band and or mode) and tell me if the spotted call is LOTW user.

I am in the same basket, but I need this in Statistics and Awards. It shows confirmed QSO's but i need to know if it is confirmed by paper or electronic QSLL.

I thought that the combination of the LOTW Users selection in the 'Filters' tab when used in conjunction with the selection of 'by LOTW or QSL NOT received' in the 'Highlights' tab fulfilled this purpose? Perhaps I misunderstand your request?????

Hello Terry,

Thanks for the answer!
I'm getting confused....

(1)
In your highlights window I see:
"by LOTW or QSL not received"
as in mine I see:
"by LOTW or QSL received"
001.png
001.png (125.91 KiB) Viewed 3346 times
That is a big difference.
Is that a setting somewhere or is this changed in the last update (I'm running 1.23 and just saw 1.24 is out)

(2)
By selecting the LOTW user in the Filters tab, I only will see LOTW users isn't it?
If so, that is not what I want. Then I will miss the ones that are not LOTW user but from whom I still need a paper QSL.

I just installed 1.24

And it answered my first question.
It shows now " by LOTW or QSL not received".

Terry wrote : Perhaps I misunderstand your request?????
Yes, I think so, but I'm carefull as it is sometimes difficult to explain in a non-native language

I will make an example
(L = LOTW already confirmed / Q=QSL allready confirmed)
With confirmed I mean with the specific band/mode combi (or so called slot) taken into account.

Call band Mode LOTW QSL
cfmd cfmd
(1) P5XX 80m CW - - (no confirmation at all for this slot)
(2) 3B9XX 20m SSB L - (only have LOTW confirmed for this slot)
(3) FT4XX 18m RTTY - Q (only have QSL confirmed for this slot)
(4) PA2XX 40m SSB L Q (have both LOTW and QSL confirmed for this slot)

Now I want my cluster window to show me nr (1), (2) and (3) and additionally per spot (on each line) which type of confirmation is needed (L, Q or both) by some kind of differing coulours, or 2 extra collums (QSL recvd status and LOTW received status).

Number (4) is not interesting anymore as I have PA on 40m SSB confirmed both LOTW and QSL.

Evert,
We just updated the title to NOT Received because many users did not understand the action

Have yo used the extended information facility in the cluster as below?

Hello Terry,

Thanks for the reply!

No, I didn't (know)
This answers my part of the question about the 2 collums.
I now use "QSL received on band/mode" and "LOTW received on band/mode"

BTW : it would be nice to be able to pick the collums from a list and move them to another position as is possible on many other screens.

I agree. In general, the description matches better with the action now.
But I think something went wrong. I'll give the example from my logbook.
I started the cluster for just a few seconds and then stopped it so I could analyse it easily.

"by QSL not received"

Is correct (checked all entries)

"by LOTW not received"

"by QSL or LOTW not received"

Huh ??

BUG : the description should be with AND : "by LOTW and QSL not received"
WISH : I'm looking desparately for the one acting with OR "by QSL or LOTW not received"

That would give me the next calls in the cluster window:
S590IARU
S51DX
UR3MA
G3YPZ
ON90IARU
9A6C
IZ1JLG
F8ZW
YT100SG
YQ90IARU

Please have a carefull look into this

Merry Xmas

Probably should read

"Neither LOTW nor QSL received"

Or

"By LOTW nor QSL not received"

Then what about the feature suggestion "by LOTW or QSL not received" ?

No, I'm not looking for spots in cluster window limited to LOTW users only, but spots that went through the filters which are LOTW users highlighted/marked.
