It would be very helpful if frequently used modes are listed on top of the drop down list, so user does not to have to scroll and search for them.
Frequently used modes could be calculated from log, or simply custom set in options.

Options/Select config tab - Check 'Enable expert mode'
Open the mode list, edit it and save it - Now restart Log4OM

as well as what Terry suggested, you may not know that once the drop down list appears, you can type the first letter of the mode you want and the list will jump to the first listing that starts with that letter. In older versions oh Log4om the list used to stay open so you could continue to scroll. Sadly, it no longer stays open. I did mention this ages ago and hopefully one day it will be fixed again, meanwhile, it can still be faster than simply scrolling.

John, unfortunately this is not something i can control.
It's related on how Windows handles his own controls. I'll try to find a workaround, but i'm not sure about...
