Can the ADIF export log feature be made to indicate:-

1) File Date / XXX records in the file path name automatically, and
2) Export successful (bit size), and then Auto-close?

Terry_G4POP,

File Date / XXX records in the file path name automatically
Generated as the file path name:-

1) If the "ADIF Export Function", can for the file path name; pull the number of records present, and pull the date (of export) as the "SAVE FILE" name information; this information can for me, be very useful when doing restores or spreadsheets. I tells me at a glance how many records I'm working with. Of course, I can and do manually do "this" as my file name.
e.g:-
File name Capture.JPG
File name Capture.JPG (13.21 KiB) Viewed 5616 times
Export successful (bit size), and then Auto-close
Reason:-

2) The current ADI dialog box shows, "Exporting ADIF", but there is no dialog box indicator to tell you whether the process is ongoing or finished.

When i estimate time wise, that the file should have been exported, I usually close the dialog box, and then check the (SAVED) file location to see if a file larger in size than my previous save is now present.

Trust this will redact the ????????????????????????.

you need this for automated backup files or also for manual adif export?
pse note i will export also the station callsign, and the date in format as now, because can be easily sorted by date.
QSO count can be added

I was going to post a few suggested issues to be fixed in ver 2, but seeing there is already a thread on this one...

The ADIF export works, but the progress bar just reaches the end and stops, there is no "complete" message, so we are left wondering if the export was completed or not. Hopefully an easy fix.

Yep, is a known issue. Basically the underlying thread that works on database is faster than the user interface refresh driven by Windows.
