V2 - Rig Cntrl: Native, Hamlib, OmniRig, etc.?

Any hints with respect to Rig Control for V2?
If V2 is still quite a time span away would it be possible to reconsider a V1 Mxce update adding the newer version of Hamlib?
I am using that APP in several different digital products (WSJT-X, JTDX, etc.) without any issues. My rig is an Elecraft K3.
I've had issues with OmniRig communicating to my K3. Many of y'all have also made changes to the "ini" file to swap some codes so it won't invoke CW-REV when making changes. I found out (over the past few days) that I had to also make similar changes to the "ini" file as it was forcing the DATA mode into REV as well.
I also have a continuing problem where the audio on my K3 gets shut down when Log4OM (really OmniRig shutting down).
Anyway this request is for consideration to add the newer release of Hamlib to V1 via a mxce release if V2 is a long ways off.
