It will be nice to have an option to upgrade new program versions from inside the program instead of going to the site on the internet.

Log4OM V1 is only in Maintenance mode. That means that Lele will not implement new
features in V1. He is working at V2 which will be complete different. Maybe possible
that Lele add this function in V2.

I'm rewriting almost the Whole code base. We actually have made most of the background features and libraries, but there is a couple of things that needs to be developed. This is because time is actually 60% on maintenance and 40% on V2
This could change in the future, but V2 project is not something that will be released in the near future.
Log4OM is actually working with the "state of the art" of the code, and V2 will have many code optimizations and other hidden changes that will support development in the future.
