A really quick suggestion:
Could you change how country names are listed?
I.E
'Germany, Fed. Republic of' would be far more useful in the log than 'Fed. Republic of Germany'. Especially when ordering alphabetically, and it allows for smaller column sizes.

the used country names are the official ones which are used bei ARRL LotW and all others.
It makes no sense to change them in a Logbook software. Changing country names will force
some errors bei up- or downloading to some online QSL services ....
