Power Levels

Post by g4cfp »

Is there anyway of reading the power levels rather than having it fixed in the setup menu.

I use a Icom IC-7100 (50watts) and a Icom IC-7300 (100watts)

Cheers

I don't believe that either Omnirig or Hamlib provide commands to read the TX power level but I will check!

I have now checked the Omnirig commands and find that Omnirig do not provide a way of reading the TX power level set on the radio or any way of setting the power levels from Omnirig.

I specifically checked the Icom radios IC7000, 7100, 7300, 7600, 7700 and 7800

I suspect Hamlib may provide this feature because FLRig has a PWR level control and I beleive that uses Hamlib
